Hi this is so helpful! What is the Exact Edit App Name to program a Spider V MK II 120? (There are so many LOL) And can you use on a PC Laptop? Or just a IPhone?
@jackcough4149 Жыл бұрын
Glad I could help, I'm not sure on that specific model. I think the spider remote works on multiple amps and will recognize it via USB and whatever may be linked to you'd account through them. I can use it on a PC laptop thats what i used in the video. The desktop version is what I prefer.

I am a complete novice when it comes to electric guitar gear after just playing acoustic for years. Last November wife and kids bought me an Epiphone Casino and I've been very frustrated trying to find a sound I like using my kid's Fender Frontman 25 I bought 25 years ago. My local (not a chain) guitar guy sold me a Spider 20 to see if I liked it. But I became increasingly frustrated in knowing how to find all the advertised pre sets. Finally emailed a LIne 6 tech and he turned me onto this video. Now I wish there was one where you take it from the beginning for someone like me. Connecting computer to amp, saving the presets etc. But just watching how the Spider remote works has also been an eye opening. If your email address still is valid, I'd live to email you at some point. Thanks, DBM
@jackcough4149 Жыл бұрын
The advertised presets may vary on the model of amp you buy. I know that when I had updated the firmware on my amp, the original presets changed a little. Everything I had personally modified stated the same though. Yes my email address is still valid but life has been keeping me very busy I don't check if as often as I used to. I will do what I can to help you when I'm able to. The spider amp series is a very versatile amp and I found it easier to figure out compared to the BOSS Katana and the fender Mustang.

Total control with amazing precision without being sterile and over produced. Consummate musicianship. Akane is one of the most natural drummers I have ever witnessed. You never hear her sticks hit against the rims where some of the very best world class drummers still do. I would love to hear them do some prog rock fusion. They are already bordering on a sound similar to Tool or Crimson they are constantly evolving musically which sets them apart from Love Bites and Baby Metal.

At the one in Amarillo, if you want the demo model that's what you'll get. I wrote down the serial number of the C1 Platinum I bought and when I paid it off, the number matched. Same for the Jackson SLXQ I bought from them. I didn't even have any issues when I installed 52, 48, 38, 28, 18 and 14 gauge strings on it. Yeah, I had to raise the action a little and adjust the truss rod, but I had no problems keeping it in E standard or drop tuning it all the way to A#. The only issue I had was the neck was too narrow and my fingers are big. I had a hard time doing chords and making them ring out right. The other downside was the weight. It was 14 LBS and I have acute scoliosis so it was nearly impossible to play standing for a full song.

You young people and metal. Where do you think metal got the double bass inspiration from - that would be rock bands from the late 60's onwards. Ginger Baker of Cream was the first drummer I ever saw with a double bass drum kit, Keith Moon of The Who and Mitch Mitchell of the Jimi Hendrix Experience also being notable DB users, and it became almost de rigueur for prog bands. I don't know why Ginger Baker decided to go with the double bass but as he was a jazz drummer I wonder if he got the inspiration from jazz drummers of the late forties ( Louis Belllson arguebly the most famous double bass drummer) and fifties only falling out if fashion because of the logistics of lugging two bass drums around.

Very cool and I’m not much of a metal fan (gets dull to my ears after a few songs - hey, I’m old 🤷🏻♂️) - but I like how you added that “bridge section” with the different chord progression - maybe there’s a key change (?) but regardless I thought that was an overall cool 😎 riff and great sound. It’s definitely something to add lyrics and build a whole song around. Just have an actual singer, not a screamer 🤷🏻♂️😂😂🤷🏻♂️ Rock On 🤘🏼

all their instrumentals are great, but this would be my fave, seems to rock best. any rock song with a bit of blues or jazz (even a little funk) influence always makes it better providing they keep it LOUD! Misa (bass) Steve Harris fan, Kanami (guitar) Eddie (RIP) among others) Drummer Akane (various)

Good to know , i´m getting a C1- Apocalypse Fr at the end of the month . I gonna grabb it up at a guitar store . Yeah thats the best way to buy guitars by holding it in ya hands and check it out . Alot are buying online now and they are litally buying the cat in the sack xD . Well as far as i heard Schecter´s quality controll isnt that bad , other companies are way worse . Also Schecter offers an insane value for the money spec wise . I think a guitarrist should know how to set up the guitar and a beginner should learn it , nothing wrong with that and youtube is loaded with helpfull videos tho . I dont mind doing little adjustings at a new guitar , speaking about string action etc. everyone prefers a different one and the company cant please everyone lol .

@jackcough41492 жыл бұрын
It's a great feel, I love the neck profile and the overall weight of it (not too heavy but not too light). It plays really well for me, I use a heavier set of strings and a lower tone for this one. I have two other schecters with different setups.

@jackcough41493 жыл бұрын
Well it depends on what you're trying to play. But I'd recommend looking for a Schecter Omen Extreme with a coil tap (a knob that switches the humbuckers to single coils). It's great for metal and rock tones.
