Jack Savoretti - Vedrai Vedrai (Live From Venice)

We recorded this version of one of my favourite songs written by the inimitable Luigi Tenco, “Vedrai Vedrai “ only days before we went into the studio of Ennio Morricone in Rome. This song reminded me of how much Italian music has played a part in my life, and led me to the music we made in that unforgettably hot Italian summer and the music I am making to this day.

Песня Vedrai Vedrai (и музыка, и слова) была написана и исполнена известным итальянским музыкантом Дуиджи Тенко (Luigi Tenco) в 1965. Была перепета разными итальянскими исполнителями. Tenco - автор многих итальянских хитов. К сожалению, он рано ушёл из жизни. У него, кстати, был роман с Далидой, которая тяжело восприняла его уход. А вторая часть композиции Джека - Oblivion Piazzolla.
