Excellent ! Nothing better than to get a notification on a Sunday evening that Richard has posted. I'm going to pour myself a large Lagavulin 🥃 now and enjoy !

On hearing The Ten Bells pub may have been closing from one of your previous videos a while back. I did manage to visit this pub back in the summer and once inside sat down with a drink. Apart from it being busy with people inside it did feel quiet if that makes any sense but not an uneasy feeling. Maybe because the building is very old. I'm very glad I visited and I do recommend it.

Excellent! I think that a ghostly figure seen leaping from Westminster Bridge would have been seen by New Year revellers in recent years!

If the Miller's Court site is not haunted, i doubt anywhere is.

Great presentation as always Mr. Jones. When again seeing the backyard at 10:00 I find the theory that John Richardson wouldn’t have seen Annie Chapman’s body because of the open door quite impossible. Either her corpse wasn’t there as he claimed or Richardson knew more than he let on.

John Richardson was either a slightly simple minded, but honest, witness, or a criminal genius. I have yet to see anything from the "Early ToD" side of the argument that might support the latter.

I remember, many many years ago now, I saw a segment on a TV show in the US (might have Sightings or Haunted History) about a pub in England that claimed the ghost of Lizzie Stride haunted their basement as she had been murdered close by. I don't recall much else but the claim was that it was Lizzie Stride's supposed ghost.

If the places where the Ripper murders took place are haunted, it's perhaps because the souls of the victims are not at rest because their murders are unsolved. Not that I believe in ghosts.

If Annie Chapman was killed in the backyard what would she be doing looking out the window?
@hogwashmcturnip89302 ай бұрын
My thoughts exactly
@thehangingparsiple56922 ай бұрын
There was the possibility that she had been killed elsewhere and her body left there, as I remember. To me that would make sense; a very busy household, people coming and going at all hours, and the only 'witness' stating he heard 'a noise against the fence as of something falling and someone saying "no"'. This suggests the body was only dumped there, in my very humble opinion.

Ghosts are seen wandering around the area where they lost their life.👍

A disc playing music box would have to be later than 1880 though 🤔
