Portable water filters - a great one is the Lifestraw Go bottles. 1l capacity. Just fill it up with water and drink it. No batteries, it just works. Doesn’t help with salt or other minerals though. Carbon filter on it helps with flavour. I need a portable RO unit for use with saltwater.

Whats the ph of brine, tank and RO water? Is the last stage activated charcoal? Ro water should taste almost sweet with no solids or chemicals. Should we place bets on how long it will last in the outback?
