Nice review, OWA. I appreciate your honesty. This lipless is kind of like a Jackhammer - a lot more expensive than most baits in the category, but it looks like it flat out works. I might have to grab a couple.

Ok so I had zero confidence in lipless cranks when I started too, or any hardbaits for that matter... Exept the tiny little jerkbaits and cranks like the bitsy minnow... my first lipless fish was my pb sunfish... which my brother proceeded to drop after I got the hook out... so no pics 🥲... but the lipless catches bigguns! Lemme tell ya! Of course Matt and Tim prolly told u that a million times but that’s what I caught my pb white bass I told you about (around 4.5 Ibs) and something about yo-yoing a lipless just works! While burning them can get bites in the summer, the baits like the TN, LV, and the aruku Shad with the heavy noses are a lot more versatile and they truly catch the big ones... although apparently the Walmart one does too...?

Found a great lure for trash or pass! Try out the Molix triple lover spinnerbait, it’s gonna be on sale via TackleWarehouse soon, it’s a wacky lookin’ thing from Mike Icaonelli? Vince that’s one thing I forgot to mention and I’m wishing I had added it in there. Colder water I would say throw it on a moderate action. The bites that day were so soft, the rod really took it. Most times though, I’m throwing them on a heavy fast

Lipless is my number 1 confidence bait, as a collector of lipless baits you should check out the IMA suspending lipless. They suspend 3 ft under water, you can slow roll them, pause them, twitch them. In the cold months these baits rule as far as cold weather cranks. Only two companies make a suspending lipless and 6th sense has been out of stock for a year lol

I'm not a fan of lipless crankbaits myself. I can count on 2 hands how many bass I've caught on them, and that's over 30+ years of fishing. I have caught a few stripe on them but just not LMB, spots, or smallies

I'm in Australia and since released thease jackalls tns are one of the best lures ever made not only do they catch a huge variety of fish and are super reliable they are the best lipless crank on the market by far. You guys in USA have been sleeping on them hard 😴
