Yeah, there was a very good article in the Guardian the other week when the fourth movie came out talking about how - despite all the moral handwringing when they first turned up - all Jackass is is just an extension/development of longstanding comedy stuff. Only people around and old enough can honeslty feel the impact of how nuts and entertaining jackass was. There is star wars in 77 , the 80s brat pack and scifi era, the 90s special effects and grandiose era, the enterance of marvel, elevated horror in the 2010s , but this, 2001 from the start and jackass 4 recently is like a beautiful time capsule of "if you know you know" absurdity. This is in there with south park , the beginning of youtube and memes, and pop culture as we know it today. What a time to be alive. Thank you jackass

I remember seeing this in theaters and getting caught completely off guard not thinking this was gonna turn into a musical bit lol. Then instantly sad knowing it was over.

OMG! From IMDB's "Trivia" section about this film, filming this finale production number had really quite serious, if NOT sad and sobering consequences. It reads: "During the grand finale, when Bam Margera and Ryan Dunn are yanked off their feet by a running horse, Dunn suffered an injured shoulder that eventually developed a blood clot. Due to the clot's proximity to Dunn's heart and brain, it became life-threatening and required extensive treatment to keep under control. Soon afterwards, Dunn contracted Lyme disease. These two hazardous conditions caused him to spiral into a deep depression that lasted about a year, during which time he cut off all contact with his friends and eschewed the attention of fans." What will stop these guys? But hey, it was a fun number!!

A lot of heart in these flicks. It is baffling that a movie with this title and this cast could make an insane outro that moves people. I was crazy skeptical about the Jackass endeavors but the heart, personalities, and camaderie is a winning combination.

Jackass is weirdly comforting. They really do capture the energy of a bunch of friends being together.
