It really bums me out seeing Bam nowadays. These shows shaped my entire jr high and high school years. I started skateboarding and filming skits/skate videos and we would always try to prank eachother. I’m guilty of rocking the beanies with the brims and heartogram shirts, haha. These shows bring back so many fun memories. I hope Bam gets back to feeling well and I sure hope they keep him in Jackass 4. I hate seeing him like this and hope he gets the help he needs. Everyone is rooting for him. Thanks for the videos man, I’m loving these! Kudos, brotha! 🤙🏼

It really depresses me too, for the exact same reasons. He posted one video where he admitted that he was bipolar, and it seemed like he was ready to seek help, but then he turned around and posted more batshit crazy videos. But thank you for the kind words, I'll keep making these videos as long as I have ideas for them!

By the time viva la bam was airing I had been skating for a few years. I’m sure I had an element deck at some point and I remember I did have some Adio Kenny Anderson’s. All my friends watched all these shows and even the cky albums. I still remember finding the hidden menu on cky4 latest and greatest. I always loved Manny from Wildboys. He was like a Steve Irwin that probably did drugs lol. And thank you for mentioning the comedic genius of Dico... woo woo. I haven’t thought about those skating days in a long time. Great video. Hey, cool video! Can you make a video about the other similar shows to Jackass? I live in Latin America and MTV Latin America loved to have Jackass versions from all over the world in constant rotation. They had Dirty Sanchez and Dudesons, but also at some point had this obscure German Jackass too. Also, in Mexico there was a version called No te Equivoques starring Tony Dalton (that you may now recognize from Better Call Saul). I know there are more shows around, but it would be really interesting to see a video about this TV genre
@MediaPastimes3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I'm mostly sticking to the stuff that I grew up with, as I really like to keep my content authentic. If I talk about shows I'm not familiar with, I'd have to at least watch a ton of episodes or preferably the entire series. I just don't have time, honestly. I might discuss the dudesons eventually, but we didn't have Dirty Sanchez in the US, unfortunately. But thank you for telling me about that Tony Dalton show, I love him on Better Call Saul. I just found a clip of that show on youtube, hilarious to see him working on a project like that.

@aleksisuuronen59693 жыл бұрын
Jackass, Dirty Sanchez and Dudesons all happened pretty much the same time. Latter too having childhood friends in it so something like it would be hard to produce these days. Well it would be too controversial anyway. For example Dudesons Jarppi was 🤏 this close to dying in the demolition stunt and Dirty Sanchez was pretty gory sometimes for lack of the better word. Jackass just happened to happen by sheer accident basically by Johnny doing stuff for big brother magazine initially, I wonder how hard it is for them to get any kinda signing off for really dangerous stuff with like bulls and stuff these days since Dunn is dead (not related to stunts ofcourse but still) and it's more strict with studios I would imagine.
