You probably think I’m nuts, but I’ve used this for five days and Wow, what a relief. I suffer from arthritis in my neck and hip, very painful and was limiting my movement on my neck. I tried everything from salves, tens unit, chiropractors, etc. No Relief.. I thought oh well, what's $30.00 dollars! Ordered and after 15 minutes with this device next to bare skin on the footrest of my recliner, pain went from a 10 to 5, I can handle that. I’ve got a bad right hip and only bothers me in bed and couldn’t sleep on the right side. Now, I’m able to do that. Only had for 5 days, but wouldn’t be without it. Doing some background on grounding and found that it’s Veterinary recommended for inside dogs and cats. One of the Sphinx cat has already found that out, may have to buy another. Make sure you have a good grounded outlet and unplug it during thunderstorms. Been motoring my blood pressure and it’s been down. They claim it thins the blood, gets rid of radicals etc. I don’t know anything about that. I’m on it for hours when in my recliner. No minimum or maximum on this device.

I just ordered the hooga grounding mat. Are you supposed to feel any electrical current when using it ?
@daviddearinger45335 ай бұрын
No.. make sure your plug is grounded correctly and unplug in thunderstorms..

Why is it that none of these "reviews" actually says how long to stand on it to gain benefit? Five minutes a day? Ten minutes a day? Every other day? Anyone?
@DNAleguillou Жыл бұрын
Can you put your bare ass on it and is it as effectiveto do that whenyou're sitting a opposed to standing? 😂 Thank you for your review

This is literally just a yoga mat with a snap button on it. It doesn’t get warm, there’s no electrical current, the mat does NOTHING!!! Please don’t waste your money!!!

It is not supposed to get warm. Electrons does not mean "electricity" the way you normally think of it. I would encourage a bit more research of what grounding is.

@@memerose22 (Preface: I say none of this as a slight against you or anyone who believes in this.) I know it’s not supposed to, I said that to imply how basic the whole set-up is. You could plug an electric blanket into the wall and it would be the same, but at least THAT would keep you warm. I’ve done “research”, especially in the time since coming across this video. I understand the concept. I also understand that there’s no proof outside of anecdotal evidence that this works. No studies, no regulation, no nothing. Just claims and prayers. Lay down on any yoga mat for 30 minutes and it will do the same thing. They just want you to buy THEIR overpriced yoga mat. Some people are buying this instead of going to the doctor and that’s gross. No educated professional in their right mind would recommend this. Unfortunately a lot of people trust random dudes on the internet more than doctors. For the consciences of the people selling these mats, I hope that they believe they’re on the ground floor of new medical technology instead of scamming people on purpose. I’m glad that people say they’ve seen benefits, but what the collective of medical academics know now doesn’t support that this consistently does anything at all. At least not yet. I HOPE it does something, just like I hope a spoonful of sugar cures cancer, but it’s just words with no backing.

I strongly disagree.

@@daviddearinger4533 That’s cool, you’re allowed! If it helped you, great. I’m truly happy for you. But there is literally no scientific (provable and repeatable) backing behind it. You could use it without plugging anything into anything and it would have the exact same effect. I guess my main point is: Don’t buy it from Hooga or anyone that is boasting a million health benefits, all unproven. Buy your own $10 yoga mat and sew a button to it if you want, but don’t give the people who are actively trying to deceive you any money.

@@memerose22 Edit: I couldn’t see my first reply to you, and I forgot I had already responded, so I thought I’d reply. It’s loaded now, sorry to reply twice, but I feel like this is still important now that I’ve written it. 😅 I did know that. The point I was making was more that they aren’t any bells or whistles to even encourage you to think that it’s working. They could’ve slapped this on a massage machine and you would’ve felt the massage bit, and that might make you feel like the electrons from the ground are being transferred to you. But they can’t do that, massagers actually make you feel better! I’ve learned as much as I could handle about how this all works, and it’s all theory. I could say being on my phone for 30 minutes when it’s plugged into the wall is “grounding” me by the same principles. Anybody can say anything, but that doesn’t make it true. I could give upcharge you on a yoga mat and tell you MY yoga does even more than Hooga’s does. There’s as much evidence saying that mine is better as there is saying that Hooga’s does ANYTHING that they claim it does. It’s all anecdotal. All stories. No concrete evidence. Not that stories are worth nothing, but I’m not giving them money unless they can provide actual proof. And no, doing some parlor tricks on a voltage meter for a 5 minute video doesn’t count.
