I’m JUST now getting into grounding and holy shhhhh… Im 26 and was diagnosed with PMDD (a severe form of PMS). For the past four months it’s consumed me and made me almost off myself because you wake up one morning, about week before your period and you feel like a totally different person- a crazy person. I don’t want to be on birth control nor SSRIs, which are the only options given how little funding and research goes into this illness. I started looking for holistic remedies, found out about grounding , planted my feet in the ground for about 7 minutes and I swear on everything I no longer have anxiety, sui*idal thoughts, any negative thoughts. In fact, I was smiling and couldn’t stop telling my mother about this!! Very cool and very happy and hope more folks get into this 🎉

I'm not even 10 minutes in and I feel like this explains sooo much of what I've been feeling for a while. I'm from a fairly rural area in the US, and although I'm not particularly outdoorsy, I love to interact with nature. More than that I feel a need to be connected to it in some way. Five years ago I moved to Korea, where nature is an attraction, not an experience. Aside from the cultural, and environmental changes... the biggest area where I struggle is not being able to have that freeing interaction with nature anymore. I told my tutor once that I walked in the pouring rain because it was fun, and he couldn't even imagine doing that. I've been telling my friend lately that I just need more green. My soul feels so burdened because there's no "natural nature" here. Everything is planned and maintained. I've come to believe that we treat nature as if it's here for us... but the more I'm apart from it, I feel that we are here to experience and admire nature. Anyway. I'm rambling a lot, but I've been thinking a lot about these things lately, and even if no one gains anything from reading this, it felt good to express it. :)

I feel that with you and agree that natural nature has so much to say to my soul. Contrived nature is too tame to teach. I hope you can find your Wild natural place to rejuvenate. Wondering, do you notice that others are also suffering from the lack of wild nature or do the curated parks sufficiently satisfy?
@ChristysChannelYall2 жыл бұрын
I feel the same. I got a bunch of plants and put them all over my home and my patio. It has helped a little. I discovered that I have very much a green thumb and they are all growing like crazy. I do live in a warm tropical type of environment during summer so I’m sure that’s mostly why, but it does my heart good to touch them and water them and watch them grow. If you can’t move right now, maybe get some plants.

You are absolutely right I relate to you so much just reading it. I am someone from Africa and all I know is outside and nature. When I came to United States I lived in the city for 10 years. I missed interacting with nature so much. After I learned there is State Park in United States, I became connected again. I tried to walk regularly in a state park from 5 to 8 miles barefoot. my life changed forever. Grounding also is a reminder of what matters the most.

Here is my grounding story. way back when I was a teenager, I use to suffer from tonsillitis, at 19 years old, one evening my father took me to the emergency room, I couldn't even pass saliva. the Doctor gave me penicillin pills and was ok in 24 hours. That week end I went to visit my older brother, told him about my problem and he told me!!! We have 3 different temperatures in our body if they are of, the body gets sick and full of pain, he told me walk barefoot for as much time as possible and that will fix my tonsils. Took my shoes of I am 66 years old and never had any problems with my tonsils since.

Maybe this is why people like to go to the beach? I feel cleansed and relaxed after I’ve laid out on the sand, walked on the beach, and swam in the salt water. We used to run around barefoot outside as kids, and we were great kids, of course, lol, except when we got measles, chickenpox, and allergies to bee stings. This experience is real! I listened to the impact the grass would have and I tried it while in dull aching dominate pain. Tried it for a few days consistently and I could feel relief from stiffness gradually and then my movement was better than it had been I took a shot and bought the pillow case and OMG! Sweet Life of living I felt the great difference in an overnight time frame. I tried to tell my chiropractor why it could be that my progress was coming as it was but he didn’t want to really here that it could be something outside of therapy 🤔😆. I will not go without the grass process or the earthing resources- I have the pillow the sheet and the wrists bands. I’m all in.

After listening to this about grounding from a friend of mine that sent this to me in a text I realized and I've known this since I moved from Florida to Illinois because of family issues or I would have never moved here.... I never had any sicknesses until I moved here I used to walk the beach 2 mi a day... Swim in the Gulf of Mexico., Get lots of vitamin c fresh air and saltwater... I practically grew up in flip-flops and barefoot... And I was healthier than I've ever been in my life! I have been living in Illinois for 4 years.... I am trying to get back to where I grew up... So therefore everything you say about rounding is true.... I would go to the beach everyday walk two miles everyday... Go to the beach and be with mother Nature anytime I wanted because I live that close to the beach... 15 minutes in the in the car to the beach! I was definitely a beach bum I grew up there since I was six years old... So I was grounding without even knowing it.... I used to play volleyball on the beach.... Go bodysurfing I never had any aches and pains until I moved here! Grounding sounds like just getting back with mother Nature and doing the things you used to do even as a child! And as far as these damn doctors.. some are good... And some are not..... A lot of them are pill pushers! Pharmaceutical and doctors are in on it together... Just like the man says luckily I have two good women doctors I go to and I have went there holistic way through a friend.... I have learned a lot from her how to take care of my health! What this man is saying is true! I never had any signs of sickness because I was always walking on the beach . Getting sunshine.... Smelling The saltwater air! Like the guy said in here it's all free! In other words get off your ass and get back with mother Nature and you will be fine! If we all did this we wouldn't need doctors don't get me wrong we need doctors for surgeries and things like that but we don't need them to be pushing drugs on us and I refuse to be a pill Popper and my doctors know that! So this was very informative for me I've been grounding all my life and never knew what it was called I just called it a natural high! 🙂🙌👍❤

I grew up in the Sierra Nevada mountains in California, and went barefoot ALL SUMMER as a kid. I probably didn't wear shoes most of the summer. Even into my 30's, I went barefoot alot, weather permitting. I seldom ever wear shoes indoors, so I often wander out with none on. I never had all the aches and pains most people complain of until I hit my mid-50's, 10 years ago. My neighbor raves about this, and her grounding mats that she sleeps on. I'm heading outside RIGHT NOW to finish listening to this, and I will sit on the lawn (which I always love, and always feels so natural to me) and report back. xoxox SO EXCITED!! ............... Sat for 45 minutes, lying on a folded quilt (it's chilly) with my feet and palms against the lawn. That was very relaxing, and as a long time meditater, I could feel my mind relax and open. The most noticeable change - and it's a BIG ONE - is NO PAIN in my Rt Hip. The pain kept me awake last night. We'll see how this goes!! YAY!

I bought Clint's earthing kit for my 75 yr old mom. She had rheumatoid arthritis in her shoulders, elbows & hands. After using the grounding mats from Clint Ober's site for about a month, now she's strong enough to open her own jars, work out & has no pain. I can't explain how it works but I know it works!!! I recently posted a video of her doing push-up's with Chef Babette. Thank God for Clint's ingenious invention for indoor grounding. Peace, love & blessings ✌🏾❤️🙏🏾

Spent the last few days about an hour outside walking in the grass. I don’t remember the last time I’ve felt this deeply relaxed and content. This could be a big piece of the missing puzzle for some. It’s hard to believe it could be that easy but I think it might be.

Of course I am walking around on carpeting which is not good but I still am able to ground outdoors and go to the beach. I am 75 and very healthy and look twenty years younger than my age.

This totally explains why I miraculously got better when I was suffering with mastitis. I was suffering immensely so I took two Panadols and then lay down outside on our concrete pavers for less than half an hour, and then when I got up I was kinda confused because I was feeling hardly sick at all. It was truly shocking because I was horrendously sick until going on the pavers

Never heard of grounding, but can't wait to try it. I notice that I carry static electricity like no other person I've ever known. I get zapped constantly. I also have been told with a blood test that my body has lots of inflammation. I am eager to try this natural way to relieve the inflammation. And the static! Getting zapped all the time is no fun. Thanks for sharing, now I want to learn more!

Wow "it's going to be these young moms that will change the world" this touches me deeply because when i became a mother with my first i became even more aware of health for my child and family. Such a responsibility that lots of parents put in the hands of others and not thinking or researching for themselves. I was a stay at home mom so i had the time to figure things out and kept following my natural way of nurturing and living and now after two children am a reflexologist promoting grounding to everyone. I work in a well known shoe shop part time and i can feel myself stepping out of the life that is keeping us from connecting to earth. Luckily there are indeed lots of moms and dads supporting earthing and inspiring others nowadays so Clint's quote is very true ❤

I was grounding while I listened to this podcast (my mom gifted me a grounding pad that I put under my desk). When Josh said it greatly reduced his ankle pain, I had to see if it had done the same thing for me. I injured my ankle a decade ago and still have daily pain from it. 11:15 I meditate with obsidian, and I tell you if you can manage to do it daily for a month or two, you'll start to feel how there are insanely strong electrical charges that can be drawn out of your body using them (different ones so different things obviously, obsidian is just more of a straight forward kinda guy). The earthing is passive, but meditation with certain types of crystals is active and can be really strong. The otherday there was an immensely huge charge going down my arm that was attracted to the obsidian in my left hand... Before when I meditated without the obsidian it tried to escape down my leg, but I wasn't grounded at the time and it was extremely painful because it felt stuck... I had to stop meditating and walk around on the Earth for 10 minutes to not feel like I was damaging my bodies nervous system. If you can accept that the Earth draws charge out of your body just by walking on it, it's not a huge stretch to think that a quartz crystal that is tuned to the Earths electrical charge can also draw out energy in your own system... You just need to learn how to use it, while we all know how to walk barefoot on the Earth. If you're interested in this stuff, then investigate; don't wait on the masses to tell you it's acceptable.. they are the ones who need you to tell them it's acceptable to give something new a try. Just walk into a crystal shop (or just go on Etsy if you're super self conscious), spend $20 on a quartz crystal, sit in the dark with it (right hand for male, left for female in your receiving hand) for 20 minutes for a week and see what you feel.

In all the circadian rhythm practices I’ve tried grounding is the one thing I can actually say improves my sleep tremendously.
@y_yy_28442 жыл бұрын
There was an experiment I read about where people lived in an insulated bunker, cut off from sunlight, while another group lived in the same kind of bunker except it was earthed. The earthed subjects had no circadian rhythm problems despite no sun exposure while the insulated people had an irregular sleep-wake cycle with very poor sleep. Circadian rhythm may have almost nothing to do with light exposure but rather the earth's magnetic field.
