Man this reminds me of me a few years ago! I was diagnosed with stage 4 bone cancer at 34. Did chemo for a year and it was terrible at the time but looking back it could’ve been way worse. I’ve been clear for almost 9 years now but think about it every day. I’ve been blessed beyond measure. Great episode!

Good to hear that some patients do make it! Did you use cannabis oil as part of the treatment? It reduces and even prevent cancer cel growth. For some patients cannabis-oil (aka rick simpson oil) cured their cancer.

I love this guy. I listened to half of the podcast while cutting the grass and watched the second half on KZbin. I enjoyed his stories about his army time, including his language! He was very inspirational when talking about his cancer diagnosis and how he intends to live his life. I will have to watch his KZbin videos.

I'm an Aussie from Adelaide too, deployed to Afghan in 2011, 2013 and 2015. In 2013 we had the SOER guys making alcohol from a makeshift still that they'd rigged up in Camp Russell at MNBTK. We had a plentiful supply and traded with the diggers and other nations outside Camp Russell at TK. We had a bar inside Camp Russell and for the most part head-shed left us alone so long as we didn't cause too much trouble. Couple of guys got us in shit after somebody over the fence had a go at them for carrying on, they threw beers over the wall at them without realising it was TK head-shed and so command cracked down on us after that.

Willy I've become a huge fan of your work in Gaza. You have a very human & humane approach to things and humble too. My daughter is in the USAF and your description of boot camp is just what she went through. Leveling everyone to the same baseline. With a college degree she was on officer track but still got yelled at for having a food stain on her shirt after dinner. That is so important, to know you will be member of a team and no one is "better" than anyone else, just different roles & different jobs.

Served myself for several Years, 2 Tours with the AUG. Its definately not a Piece of S***e - as much as i like Matt, but that was no good Comment. The AUG is not for no Reason the Main Infantry Weapon since the 70s in so many Countries in the World. That tells you all i'd say. If you look at the Service Duration of a Infantry Weapon, you know its not Garbage. So again: I totally disagree with you on that Sir!

I went to the U.S. consulate in Kyiv in 2009 and reported widespread Russian mil intel ops that I witnessed. He makes some huge assumptions about Ukraine. Maybe 10% of Ukrainians are pro Russian even as far as Kyiv. Kharkiv, mauripol yeah maybe 20% pro Russian now. Most pro Ruzz are paid agitators. No the people who stay in towns are not mostly pro Russian. God he’s full of shit in some regards. He’s not an expert on Ukraine. I lived there before and during the war. Yeah Kharkiv had a lot of agitators but not all that many were real. Many were propositioned. A Ukrainian can tell by the accent. Not all that many pro Russians are just language. Idk maybe 60% of volunteers speak Russian or a mix of it in 2022.
