So I have been looking into this unit. My issue is I’d like to put it in my basement which has a height of 86.5”. Would this unit fit in the space I have. I wrote to the company and they said no. So I was wondering if you measured your unit and gave me the height of the top cross bar. Because I was wondering if I could place the unit between my joist and only have to worry of the cross bar from side to side. From floor to underside of the floor joist is 86.5”. Thanks for your time.

I have had this rack for over a year and still love it! I got all the attachments except the belt squat. I also wish it was a one to one pulley system for the same reasons you mentioned. However, the weight plate pin helps with that. I also bought their bench and attachments for it. I only use it for leg/hamstring curls and preacher curls. Do not waste your money on the bench. Just buy a Rep, Rouge, or Prime Fitness bench. I also upgraded the accessories (pull down bars etc…) with rouge, rep, and American barbell attachments. Great review! I haven’t seen very many people do reviews on this product.

Yup so far I've been very happy with it

Thank you for sharing I'm debating on which route to go with the pro or the extreme! I like the option of the extreme because of the 1:1 /2:1 pulley option but I like the pro because of the height and options that come with it!

That's one sweet rig! P.s It would have been nice to see the different features demonstrated, but if you are planning to do so in the full home gym review then disregard this portion of the comment.

Can you do weighted pull ups using the belt squat?
@BrainsandGainsPodcast7 ай бұрын
I suppose you could yes, or with the cables connected to a standard dip/pull up belt.

One of the reasons I didn’t buy this model is the 2 to 1 ratio. Went with Bells of Steel instead

Did you consider the ForceUSA all in ones racks?
@BrainsandGainsPodcast7 ай бұрын
Yup, I was close to going with them, they ended up as my second choice. One of the only other ones with a smith.

2 to 1 gives you twice the cable travel

Correct

@@BrainsandGainsPodcast I think he was trying to say the reason why it’s not one-to-one on the Weight stack. You would only have half the cable travel length and it might hit the top of the machine easily if it was 1:1.
@BrainsandGainsPodcast6 ай бұрын
@@jasonmckinney3876 Right, but they have another rack with the 1:1 option
@jasonmckinney38766 ай бұрын
@@BrainsandGainsPodcast ooooh ok gotcha. I would rather have the cable travel and use a gym pin to add more weight. Maybe use “weight it out” plates to get the most weight on the peg. Although I guess you could always use different lengths of small chains to get extra length
