Another great review I always look forward to the next one.what is your main source for charging through your portable solar panels or when your driving plugged into the 12 volt adapter.

Thank you John! When we are stationary or moving I plug our Jackery 240 into the Solis house batteries / solar system which provides 39-40 watts DC power using one of the 12V outlets. I've not recorded charge times but at 40 watts it takes a while. If I attach it to one of our BALDR 120W portable solar panels the Explorer 240 will accept 65 watts of charge. I've not tried to charge using the engine battery / alternator 12V plug while driving. I will give that a go and report in a future video. When it comes to the Explorer 1000 if we use house power it will accept 145 watts. For example after this video I charged the Explorer 1000 in our house and here is what I documented for charging time. With the 1000 at 22% it took me 4 hours and 50 minutes to bring the 1000 to 84% charged. After 1 hour it was at 35%, after 2 hours it was at 50%, after 3 hours it was at 64%, after 4 hours 50 minutes it was at 84%. When I charge the Explorer 1000 using our 2 BALDR 120W portable solar panels connecter to the Jackery using a Jackery Solarsaga Parallel Connection Adapter the Jackery Explorer only accepts 120 watts. I've not documented the charging time with the two solar panels yet but I will do so at some point. I expect it would most likely take 6 hours to bring from 22% up to 84% charged. As I mentioned, which I need to document by plotting the charging curve for the Explorer 1000, the closer I get to 100% charged the watts the Jackery will accept is reduced. That reduction which I failed to document when charging in the house may start as early as 60% of charge. More work needed here. Now with our 2021 Solis 59PX I can always just turn on the 2800 watt generator if we need to power an AC appliance. 😊 Or just book a night at an RV part where there is an electric hook up. But we like to dry camp so the Jackery Explorer 240 and Explorer 1000 power stations with the BALDR 120 portable panels and Jackery Solarsaga adapter is a nice set up and provides us value. And I often plug one of the portable panels into the Solis to supplement the 170W rooftop panel when we are camped in an area with shade. I can position the panel up to ~15 feet from the Solis where there is better sun. Thank you again for checking out our video and taking time to comment. Much appreciated. 👍
