If you are thinking of buying one of these best to buy one that can output more power. Price difference won't be much and best to have more power available just in case

Personally, i combined two powerstation. One lightweight jackery 1000w 1000wh with the 2x100w solar panels to charge all my low output devices, and low A/C devices, around the house or run the 12v fridge in Dc mode I also have a Bluetti ac200L 2400w 2048wh with its pv420 w panel for all the high output A/C mainly but also to charge low output device usb like watches.

Can you use other solar panels with this. Looks like the cable will only work with the jackery panels.
@RedskullPro21 күн бұрын
I think you can use other solar panels and get some type of adapter for it… however I’m just assuming without looking further into it.

I am confused. Why does the Jackery unit that you are reviewing have only two covered AC outlets on the front and all the other videos I've seen that discuss/review the Jackery Explorer 1000 v2 have three uncovered AC outlets on the front? What am I missing?

How much energy does that solar panel brings in on a cloudy day? Not that sunny where ai am
@RedskullPro29 күн бұрын
Depends… 30-40W…. Really depends how cloudy it is. I’ve seen it generating 110w as well

So, while charging with the one 100 watt solar panel, providing 95w, the Jackery showed 3.8. I believe that meant it would finish charging in 3.8 hours? Then you said if you attach a second solar panel, it would charge in 7 and a half hours. If it takes that long to charge, this thing is worthless.
@RedskullPro27 күн бұрын
The thing is, the battery was already charged to over 70% when I showed that. Later on in the video I showed it charging from that panel again at 104W, so it depends on the sun that day, position, time in the day.

@@RedskullPro Hello, can you provide the total volts allowed for each solar input? Believe I saw 60v but not sure if that's for each solar input, or combined @ 30v for each. Thanks!!

Why Jackery Sucks: I recently purchased two Jackery Explorer 1000 v2, and one 200-watt solar panel. With one of the power stations, if I want to run my 550-watt window air conditioner the power station turns off when the AC compressor turns on. This is NOT supposed to happen, and I can't find out online what the problem is. The second power station doesn't have this problem. I've had the power stations and 200-watt solar panel for only one month, having used it around 10 times, and one of the only two solar panel kickstands is already beginning to break off; I'm guessing it's because I live in central Arizona and the plastic fold can't handle high summer heat -- the kickstand fold is up at the top where it's exposed to sunlight/heat whereas other brands have this fold lower so it's in a shadow. I'm also unhappy that there is no kickstand in the center of the panel, only on the ends, because when set up the center always sags and doesn't face the sun the same way as the ends do, so you need to use something to prop the center up; I use a cynder block. Lastly, the two-prong connector to the solar panel is extremely finicky because after connecting the cable to the power station it often registers as 0 watts input, so after going out and fiddling with the two-prong connection to the solar panel about ten times it will finally work properly; the connector to the solar panel should be some sort of click-on attachment rather than loose fitting since that end of the cable cord is always bent/curved at the connection point! Customer support gave me a lousy 5% refund on this solar panel. I later contacted their marketing department (with photo of breaking kickstand) since I have a KZbin channel and plan to make a review of this product, and never received a reply from them, so now I'm going to make a harshly critical video about this power station and the solar panel. My advice is to purchase other brands like Bluetti or Oupes because you cannot use other solar panels with a Jackery -- Jackery makes everything proprietary so that you're stuck using only their overpriced solar panels and cables/connectors!
