@Chris Collins Go to 'edit player card', then select 'backgrounds', then 'general', scroll down, it should be the last selectable one. Same steps for the tag except obviously select 'tags' instead of 'backgrounds'. It has been bugged for some people, so if you don't see it, try restarting the game.

@@squaeman_2644 Of course Jack wants BF titles to be popular, that doesn't take away the huge progress the game has made, with real squad management this is a real BF title and i don't see a single fact based argument against that. The community need to recognize that BF2042 has received a lot of good work and is very close to being a true BF experience, for anyone who plays solo and don't care about the squads (so 98 % of players) it already is. I'm not basing my opinion out of Jack or anyone's ideas, the game has insane variety of playstyles available, it's great fun and the only youtubers i see not enjoying it are those channels that bashes developers and publishers around the clock and always ramble about the death of X and Y franchise.

The discarded revamp was so much better than I expected. From what I saw I thought only some minor cover was added, but whole terrain and hills where added and moved. It felt so much better playing. Might be one of my favs playing on breakthrough too. Love pushing up that hill into the junkyard.

I’ve picked it back up for about two weeks now and it’s the most fun I’ve had on a shooter in a long time. Ashika island is try hard city rn. Warzone seems to be in flames and I gotta focus too much on siege when I play it lol 2042 is great fun rn. Enjoying it a lot! Started off horrible but is making a great comeback right now. @@Aries_Alpha yes to standard extended, also have close combat as backup, yes to short suppressor but also keep the regular one for longer range kills it is a beast at range too also yes to the mgl laser sight. As for optics I love the thermal holo I can't remember if the 2x thermal is available for the RM68 but if it is, get it I've found it so useful for many ars and lmgs but also have a non thermal sight available because if people use smokes it makes it impossible to see anything near the smoke but if you have a regular sight you can still see people's laser sights through smoke (also if you use smoke try flipping your laser sight off it's crazy how easy it is to track lasers through it)

not the core BF (experience) that used to set the franchise appart tho. instead of reinventing itself in order to differentiate from modern CoDs (which were able to innovate), it blends right in. like, how is it that a modern CoD game has more weapon recoil than this? Do not have to run 2042, but still playing BF4 on most harcore servers.. Spotting/regen servers are for noobs> Come join a Banzore hardcore server anytime, populated 80-90 % of the time. Great content as usual Jack. Always here for the BF content...

The hate mostly comes from the launch, a lot of players hate specialists and there isn't large scale destruction like some previous titles. But if you can get it I would recommend it, it's a great game I really like the specialists especially since they got put in a class system and I just really like the game overall. Destruction is great but can make maps less fun once everything is leveled so I don't think it's as big a deal as many players make out and I've been playing since BC2 the only thing I really didn't like was the awful launch that seems to have become a staple of DICE lately

There was a bug in BF4 briefly where vehicle carcasses didn't despawn. I thought it was awesome. They littered the map by the end. I think it's one thing that sticks out as so 2002, the budget blocky carcasses that disappear into thin air.. they should stay on the map, at least until the vehicle that replaced it gets destroyed and becomes a new carcess. Give them good physics and become interactive and persistent cover on the map that would be along the same lines as destruction but even more awesome

I strongly disagree. The game still sucks. SMG's and MG's are practically snipers, Shotguns are just handcanons which you don't have to aim, Tanks are overpowered, C5 is underpowered, running speed is still CoD-speed, hitboxes are random. Rush is broken, Breakthrough is mediocre, Conquest still sucks and the maps are just terrible. Absolutely awful. This is the worst Battlefield ever made. They can throw 200 updates at it, the core of this game is rotten. No wonder PS made it available for free on PS-plus. Any gamers want to play a good shooter which doesn't jump the CoD bandwagon? Buy Hell Let Loose...!

The RM68, without a doubt, needs a nerf. I rarely see anyone using any other weapon. And the fact you can beam someone across the map with any full auto weapon and there is basically no recoil really fucking annoys me. I hope they look into this, because I don't think it's fun
