Siege is one of those games I like watching much more that I like playing. I tried to get in to it last spring. Had a few friends that were and still are obsessed with it and they wanted me to get in to it with them, so I tried for a few months. I'm good at shooters, and can land headshots pretty consistently. I was getting down some of the operators, learning the maps, getting to know some of the tactics and ways to apporach situations pretty good. But the one thing that ultimately ended up tanking this game for me was how absolutely fucking toxic so many of the players are. It's the WORST community for a shooter I've ever encountered And to my surprise I discovered some of the friends I was playing with were pretty toxic too. I played so many shooters with them before and everything was always cool, but this game just brings out the worst in them. I think it's pretty much geared to be that way. The devs will never admit it, but they have to know their game is perfectly configured to attract just the worst assholes out there to exibit their worst possible behavior. Be it towards opponents, teammates and even their friends It's a shame, because the core game is so clever and well done. Oh well

It's just very difficult and you really have to pay attention to a lot more things than in other shooters. Mistakes have bigger consequences for the team and the game is unforgiving. That's why people are less friendly to beginners
