I downloaded it yesterday and i was surprised when i heard a guy walking behind me in the middle of a mountain, the directional sound is really good. The cpu usage on the other hand could need some upgrades tho.

im glad you mentioned the footsteps, because thats one thing i love about this game, and I have told people about. You can "see" players running towards you= and can pinpoint their exact location based off of this. I feel a lot of people either are not paying attention to the sounds of the game, or are simply playing on low volume or even mute, because it's blatantly obvious.

Idk if others noticed but bf 2042 on Next gen consoles looks god awful in terms of graphics for the past few months. I am not sure if it was from some update they released a while back but I can't stand playing it because something they did just ruined the graphics. Seems to be fine on PC though.

Glad to hear it cause it is a broken mess of a game that needs more fixing. It is not acceptable for this game to even be at full price plus be released. This is the most saddening that ever existed for the battle field franchise. I still do not get how people are fine with this game or even accepting the game how it is, it is a broken mess that has so much clutter and optimization issues that need fixing asap. Plus don't forget the cpu usage that still has not been fixed even though they said their team is looking into. We have not heard any knew news about this "look into".

Not close to a great game, but better than mw2 that wont even open without crashing. Needs full class customization which shouldve been here in the first place, more maps, load guns and people better so they dont look like a PS2 game and portal is dead. But seeing as its better than mw2 just shows the low standard of current "AAA" games. Sticking to BF1 meanwhile. Honestly getting really bored of modern "tacticool" shooters with insanely stupid customization and anime girls running around, wish these companies did historical conflicts better or tried something like vietnam.

I was playing a round using GVT 45-70 with the intention of completing the Master of Arms tag requirement. But as soon as I successfully kill using that weapon, my RDR2 instinct kicked in. Got like 20 kills using that weapon with few deaths, I think I will be playing the game that way often because it's just so fun.

I used to play only BFV until a couple of weeks ago when I just got fed up with having multiple cheaters in almost every lobby. Picked up 2042 again because of you, and It's actuallty super fun now :) It doesn't feel as polished as BF4 or BFV (probably never will), but not getting farmed by cheaters ups polish by a mile ;)

For those who don't know. I've noticed a lot of people playing bf42 without hit damage on. I believe it's in display settings, I don't remember, it was in one of the last in one of the updates. I thought of this watching Jack hit that apc at the end and looking for hit damage.
