@@Name-zd2nb Putting the swath of balancing issues aside, Destiny 2 PVP is actually pretty well designed for a game that lets you use all of your loot and items across PVE and PVP, so if they can manage to capture the best aspects of the D2 Crucible while also sidestepping the issue that balancing all of the loot, abilities and builds in the game to work in PVE _and_ PVP creates, then I think it might actually be more fun. The gunplay, visual design, UI design, and pace of gameplay all look pretty solid from everything I've seen, so I might actually pick this up when it launches.

Sony has several divisions with different developer teams in them. Sony currently has 21 divisions. Spiderman, Jax and Daxter, Ratchet and Clank, Horizon, God of War and Ghost of Tsushima for example were all made by different divisions. From what I could tell, this team hasnt made any other game for Sony before. Some of the devs came from Destiny, which is why some think it has a Destiny PvP look to it. Personally I think this game heavily reminds me of Valorant. I hope Sony has learned to check the product better though... I guess they just expected it to be good without really looking into it since they had good developers.

I was skeptical when the game was announced, and was not enthusiast at first, but after a few games and unlocking the "no respawns" game modes, the game really shines in those, the game is fun, I really enjoy the characters and the fact there are no ults makes the game more skill based than other hero shooters. 40$ is still overpriced, but I think it's either this, or an extremely aggressive shop/battlepass I also enjoy the fact everyone got all the characters from the beggining. If this game released 2 or 3 years ago, it would have been a massive success (especially before OW2 release) but sadly people are tired of hero shooters, and this one may be the best experience I had on one of them in years, but it doesn't really have *something* that would make you really play it more than an other. I hope the game will work out (good thing it's a PC + PS5 release)

Tried it on Console for the beta, its the same way I felt with overwatch years ago - Controls and such feel a bit too stiff to want to play it on console. This is a game that has probably its best results on PC. Even then, its not that appealing. Graphically it is nice, the universe it may protray is quite cool. But thats all I feel is okay with it after playing a decent amount. With it being as it is, I dont find any enjoyment in it. But, to each their own. Im sure there are some people that do enjoy it, and thats fine.

​@@SkylerMaki yea not many. I'm an overwatch player myself but yern for something new. Concord and Marvel Rivals are in production and the same as overwatch 1 we got Battleborn and Paladins. But Battleborn servers deactivated janurary 2021, Paladins feels outdated, Apex is battle royal which I don't like and Valorant is slow, more like Counter strike which I don't like. I don't like third person so Marvel Rivals doesn't appeal to me either. Concord is really the only thing that looks appealing to me.

Oh also deadlock from valve which isn't even announced yet but that's in third person and looks more like a moba to me which i'm not interested in. I do love valve though (1k+ hours tf2 on steam) so i'm definitely going to try it out eventually

The game has really good graphics, the gameplay is top notch probably some of the best in the genre…… but man it’s so uninteresting, I’m so bored of these hero shooters, I want og socom, battlefield, COD, killzone

This game would have worked as a F2P, But demanding 40$ for a braindead copy paste game is probably its downfall, Game has no real personality, But it showed me NOTHING to peak my interest. Compare this to something like HUNT SHOWDOWN's gameplay. Instantly you are interested. Its a game where the creators have put effort into it. Now compare it to this 'Not That Bad' Gameplay. This is why Concord crashed and sank like that Cruiser Ship.

They literally took Overwatch, ripped it off completely, made the visuals ugly and bland and the characters super woke. And put a 40$ pricetag for it. What a glorious idea honestly, so revolutionary.

I am very confused as to why this game is getting so much hate for looking like overwatch Overwatch mediocrity damn near killed the whole hero shooter genre and they are trying to revive it ...sure game has some issues but I think they deserve the benefit of the doubt for now. looks fun tho.

Overwatch originally was really good but it was gutted and updated to the point where it's not recognizable anymore (In classic Blizzard fashion). Concord reminds me more of destiny tbh and even that wasn't very good after the first one. I applaud the devs for making it but the buck kinda ends there.

In 2016 it was by far the dominant type of shooter but for a while now pretty much every hero shooter has been DOA... Not as bad as Concord but remember... Paladins, rogue company, dirty bomb, battleborne, law breakers, my beloved gigantic 🥲, and shatterline Maybe Valve will save the day
