5v5 is the amount of players there do, if the company wants an E-sports for it. It’s either that or it’s a battle Royale. The only game that isn’t like that, that I can think of is Overwatch 1. Also TF2 but doesn’t really count because Valve wasn’t really going for a competitive scene on that one and the only tournaments are community.

It’s extremely boring and the only action is at the start or when some guy peeks out of a box for one second and kills someone with a sniper rifle and that’s it. It honestly depends on the battle Royale but these games do devolve into hiding in buildings and cover because you don’t want to be in the open, the problem is that Fortnite build mode makes it so you can make a building anywhere so everyone does it and just hides.
