Ive seen it happen to a couple other people too, they suddenly start getting shot from nowhere, no gunshots or anything just shot then ded. so maybe its a bug that renders your body somewhere else on another persons screen

Jack if you right click on an object that's on the ground or on somebody's body while in the inventory menu it'll move the object to the correct spot so you don't have to drag it.

i agree with the vss being a bit trashy but in final zones, the bullet drop isint an issue and it being almost dead slient protects your position so i still tend to grab it.
