Ok so new game mode idea. Tell me what y'all think. So I think that dice should have a game mode that is modeled off of something like from the game Verdun. Basically you'd have two nationalities (duh). Let's just say that it's germans vs. British. So each team spawns in their own trench line facing each other. The British would be ordered to charge, and the objective would be to clear the German front trench line. To keep the British from just hanging out in their own trench, they could have it where after a certain amount of time (15 seconds perhaps?) their trench would become out of bounds. Or if they wanted to be super realistic, a certain number of players (like 4 out of 32 per team or maybe all squad leaders) would be officers and have their own kit. Their job when attacking would be to make sure their squad charges and if not then they can shoot any people hanging back. Anyways the attacking team would/could have air support (no behemoths) and mortar fire. The defending team would have dugouts, machine gun nests, bunkers, and artillery. To keep the defending team from charging into no mans land, no mans land could be out of bounds. The attacking team would have a certain number of tickets to take the defending trench line. If taken, then the Germans would retreat and the British would then have to defend this trench line from the attacking Germans. If they fail and run out of tickets, they would have to retreat. The Germans would then assault the British trench. To win, a team has to take all of the enemy trenches. Thoughts? Questions? Let me know!

In many cases I find myself needing 4 hits and if you are not extremely accurate like he seems to be you won't be dropping people as easy as he makes it look. That's why I said it doesn't kill people for me like that. I'm just average at best and have a problem only hitting the arms in front of the chest giving me 23 or so hit points. People that are good make a lot of guns look op.

I'll be surprised if u read this but anyway I will put what me and others think should be added : 1. Be able to customise the look of your soldier ( e.g. Pick your helmet and clothing) and be able to customise your horseback 2. MORE Weapons, playing with the same weapon over and over again gets boring and i lose interest very fast. 3. Have a trench warfare game mode !!! I know I'm not the only one by saying I thought bf1 was going to be bolt action rifles in the trenches with no mans land over the top , to be able to have a game mode that allows players to only use bolt action rifles in trenches would be amazing. 4. More war stories for the campaign lovers, maybe add in a Russian story when the dlc comes out ( I would like a trench warfare story mode myself ) 5. More vehicles to add different varieties of play styles ( maybe a plane that could hold a whole squad of payers ) 6. More gadgets !! The medic definitely needs a gadget that can do damage to tanks etc ... but not to powerful because they are still medics at the end of the day 7. Add in a mode or something to allow players to earn scrap to get battle packs faster 8. More gun attachments would be very nice to see 9. New maps , we wants more maps !! Maybe a snow map when it became winter in the battle. 1". 10. More melee weapons , maybe add in a "fun" game mode where your only able to use melee weapons . These are the points that I and others think that would improve the game drastically and make it more enjoyable . But dice already u have exceeded my expectations so even putting one or two of the points above we as a battlefield community will be thankful

Bretton Woodhouse you have to make these things fit into the construct of WW1. They do have back to basics, which is infantry rifles only. On PS4 you can maybe find 4 servers full at any given time. I like it, but frankly it not popular and most of the player base doesn't like it. The informs are uniform of the time. The customization would take away from that.

It would have all been fine if they'd made bolt action rifles available for all classes and didn't have any scopes in the game. Bolt action rifles were the standard infantry rifle and not called 'snipers'. but this game has made them snipers as they are only available to one class and can be equipped with scopes which were very rare in WW1.

Harryhas26 most infantry did use bolt action rifles, it was the standard issue service rifle and was used in the millions. So much so you could confidently say, that the in game "scout class" was what 95% of soldiers were using.Some of the weapons used in game were experimental and some didn't even see any actual service, specifically the Automatic and semi automatic weapons! Not sure if that would be a fun game though. Sniper rifles were used but were also variants of the standard issue bolt action rifles.

snipers are based from sweet spots for 1 hit kill. You have to move a certain range or calculate how far u think they are from you to get the one hit kill. Also snipers on both teams and snipers usually challenge other snipers.

only reason why i don't bf1 anymore its because of the shitty direct x error for gtx 770 users not even 10 minutes in the game you suddenly get Direct x error crashes game lose all your points. not going to be able to play bf1 until they fix it or nvidia release a patch

David Soule I recommend jumping on the mounted turrets sometimes, I regularly get 4/5 kills if you time it right with enemies coming back to the fight, and the field gun is amazing.

SJ depends on play style. for me the Bar 1918 storm is the go to gun. i have over thousand kills with it, and have only been playing for short time.

Listened to your comment on team play and you are correct about team involvement. It is not a question of skill level; it is an issue about working as a TEAM. Many, many players are simply selfish and do nothing for the team. I noticed that in BF3, BF4 and Hardline. And, there is no cure for it either.

Nexus Gaming Those are very different games. Battlefield 1 is extremely well optimised, while Arma runs pretty crap generally and still uses a 32-bit architecture.

Actually BF1 isn't very well optimised at all. It runs great for me and a lot of people, but it's not optimised for the the new Pascal architecture and there is still a large percentage of people on PC who have CPU throttling issues as the game has a 100% cpu usage bug. A game running well doesn't mean it's well optimised... a game running well across a wide range of different hardware means the game is optimised well.
