While I believe people need time to grow and figure things out there was a noticeable lack in this couple discussing tangible plans to move forward in reaching goals. Instead of battling about someone else’s lease/ apartment the obvious solution is to absolve themselves of further strife by moving to an apartment of their own as lease holders.

I mean this sincerely and with no disrespect: maybe Jackie is neurodivergent? I just ask because I've worked with neurodivergent people before and some of her behaviour appears that way to me. For example, becoming very emotionally dysregulated when upset and lashing out (throwing the fork). Then being immediately regretful about it. I'm not justifying that behaviour, but I do understand - if I'm correct. I may not be but that's my perception.

She should have knew her name wasn't on the lease prior to moving in. The fact they moved in and only found out her or their name(s) were not on the lease when the renewal came is wild to me. There is fault on both sides. If your name is not on the lease and you are not comfortable of the situation, you can find a different apartment! Jackie needs to grow up be accountable for her actions. To say she doesn't know why she threw a fork that could have hit and injured someone is insane! And Zuri is an enabling her irrational behavior by saying she feels Jackie is always being taken advantage of. If you are two adults, you should be able to get on your feet in 30 days. That is ample amount of time to find an apartment on your own. I would have did a 30 month trial with any family member or friend in case it didn't work out. So the brother and sister-in-law were being nice.
