I tried this game this week because a buddy told me to whip it out, hadn't played it before despite hearing of it: Everything about it is so strange (concept and the way the game looks) and even outright jank (Mysterious Lion's crouch high kick really hits hard for no reason), but the crazy stuff that feels like playing a game with MVC2/MUGEN combos except its literallly from just a few specials (Lau's tatsu can combo into double DP...and that alone is like 75% health) instead of actually having to learn so much commands and physics stuff. Its so broken and silly in every way that it did end up being a lot of fun with my buddies laughing at either stuff that makes no sense (like that ground attack where the enemy turns big and can outright pummel you to death, or the aforementoined Lion's kick being another buddy's absolute crutch move to win a lot of fights even when he never played this game) or from the insane comebacks because of the obscene damage. Really cool to see this channel talk about it, love to know more about this game :)

You can also play Fists of Fire with MAME and use Parsec for multiplayer. I dislike Finalburn Neo so much that I would rather do without Fightcade's lobbies than use it.
