Let's not forget *SMALL SPOILER* that he managed to learn the kamehameha before Krilin did. After being trained by Roshi, he reached the same level as Krilin, but will be distanced later... I love how Roshi took 50 years to learn the kamehameha, Yamcha and Krilin just some years, Goku and Tien Shinhan immediately lol.

One thing to appreciate is that the girl could still fight somewhat, with or without with the succubus act. If her entire shtick was to get in her underwear in order to win, that would've been cringe. Obviously Dragonball tends to overplay hornyness of characters for comedic effect.
