Four world class tenors, huge world class orchestra - all these supporting an 11 year old girl as the lead singer in the middle. What a wonderful sight! In front of millions of TV viewers, our little angel is fearless. She sang it with such ease and confidence as if going to a playground, turning this well worn out song into a new musical masterpiece. Talent like jackie probably come into this world once a few hundred years. I am lucky to be able to experience this rare phenom.

And - - - she was just ten years old when all of this took place in December 2010. Four months later, and six days after her 11th birthday, on April 15, 2011, she presented her Dream With Me concert that was recorded live for her first PBS "Great Performances" television special. That performance should be placed in the archives of national treasures. It was just flawless.

The best part is they did not try and intimidate her, they enjoyed singing with her as much as she enjoyed singing with them. Total class, all around. In this performance they were the old pros, introducing the promising newcomer. About 1 yr later, they were supporting singers for her, in her own PBS special.

The interesting thing is in this performance it was the already famous Tenors introducing the promising newcomer. But only 2 yrs later she had her 2nd large PBS event, and she was introducing them, as her guests, to perform with her.

@@richard40x I'm from the United States. I wish they had remained named Canadian Tenors. It was a much more distinguished name, but I'm a bit of an Anglophile. Jackie is 20 now and I still feel she and The Tenors are a great fit. I'm sad for all these entertainers who can't do what they do because of Covid-19.

I got to see her in person last Saturday, Dec. 19, for the first time. Now almost 16, she is absolutely a marvelous performer. Complementing her incredible vocal range and beauty is her "girl next door" personality, and physical beauty in good taste, that she has displayed from the earliest days of her public career. A really outstanding performance!

The great music producer, David Foster, remarked when she was about 18, that she totally fulfilled the early faith he had in her, and he never remembered her ever disappointing any audience. Quite a tribute, from the Hitman, with piano full of Grammys.

@@richard40x I was able to attend Jackie's concert last December in Wabash, Indiana. That she has worked hard to perfect her performances is an understatement. She now has no peer, anywhere, as a professional vocalist and entertainer. I believe that the greatest tribute to her and her gift actually came during her first audition with America's Got Talent. Then a 10 year old girl, singing in a foreign language, before the performance was even completed, so moved her audience that no one, not even the judges, remained seated. Foster was right, "Jackie never ever, ever, disappoints."

in my 64 years I have never ever ever heard anyone sing like Jackie.. When I first heard her sing on AGT chills went thru me and I thought..Finally a voice that no one will ever tire.. I must of played her first AGT song at least 10 times in a row to just believe what I was hearing was real and I still listen to it at least one or twice week.. I don't have a Jackie favorite song. You wont have to worry about Jackie getting opportunities, she made her own. Since this brilliant performance was first recorded when she was only 10, she has recorded multiple CD's, two of them Gold/Platinum, has continuously resided at the top of the Classical charts, toured the world on sold out concerts, stared in a movie with Robert Redford, and 4 yrs later is still at the top of her game, and getting better.

I have never seen such a sensation as this young lady in all my years and not to apreciate such heavenly voices as both Jackie and Susans is to depreciate the wonderfull gifts God has given us these few years that we spend here on earth. Her exuberance at that age is infectious, touching and so sweet it brings tears to my eyes. As she's grown older, I've suspected she's been growing a bit jaded. That's not an insult or a bad word; it's like having lobster every night for dinner, the specialness fades a bit - that's natural. But when I saw her in Las Vegas recently, the joyful little girl in her is still alive and well. She'll soon be a young woman, charming in a different way, but I will always treasure these early moments.
