La fraîcheur de sa jeunesse, la petite trentaine, extrêmement rare à cette époque pour une femme de président, a évidemment été plus flatteuse à regarder sur photos, offrant renouveau et modernité. Mais la personne en elle même est assez décevante par son parcours après le décès de son mari. Les tragedies qui ont secoué cette famille Americaine dont elle faisait partie en ont fait une légende, car, elle restera à jamais, l'épouse du regretté John Kennedy.

The documentary left out the fact that Jackie and Mr O were in the middle of a divorce. Only his death prevented that Jackie didn't end up as a divorcee, but as his widow who inherited a large part of Mr O's fortune. Jackie lived most of the time in NYC and didn't care about her husband when he lay dying in the American hospital in Paris. But she had the nerve to demand that Maria Callas was denied access to his deathbed. The marriage between Jackie and Mr O was a bargain from the get-go, orchestrated by the Kennedys and their lawyers. Mr O almost had a nervous breakdown when he noted the monstruous spending habits of his wife. After the first year in their marriage he remarked that she cost him the equivalent to an oil tanker. She considered him vulgar and not her class, but she gladly took his money and enjoyed the security he granted.

I liked her of course, but suffered, endured no more than many women throughout the world… my mom! Strong, courageous, pretty woman! Never remarried after my father died, she dedicated to raising 4 boys - one being special needs, and myself. She was the model, hero, most admired woman, style in dress!, taught us alot about people, dealing with life.., I realized all this in her later years before she passed. Greatest lady I knew in my life! ❤ you mom~ rip!

At 31 years old she became a widow because the president her husband JFK was assassinated. What did you want her to do to spend her whole life as a widow. Actually, Jackie met John at a dinner party given by friends. I watched a documentary on it, the friend, a woman and her husband, who had the dinner party gave an interview about it years later after Jackie’s death. The news story Jackie did on John was obviously after she met him at that dinner party.

@@678taneshaI learned all about the Beales’s back in the mid-90s after reading Wayne Koestenbaum’s “Jackie Under My Skin.” That was way before the documentaries and films about big and Little Eadie were made in the 2000s! I loved the whole Jackie connection to the Beales’s - I can see the resemblance of Little Eadie when young to her 1st cousin, Jacqueline Bouvier. Little Eadie was gorgeous when she was young. She was a model. That Bouvier family certainly had a great sense of fun and great wit. Eadie was so kooky and funny. These days they would say she was on the spectrum, but I just think she was repressed by her domineering mother and it kind of ruined her life.

Elle n'était pas personellement engagée dans la politique, et à l'époque c'était une environnement très masculine. Elle n'a pas voulu en vraiment faire partie, sa loyauté et sens de devoir personnelle, à 'égard de la Maison Blanche, sont focusées sur son mari et soutenir sa carrière. Eleanor Roosevelt a été une figure bien plus ouvertement politique, mais Mme Kennedy n'a pas voulu aller dans cette direction et je pense que c'était sa choix Le choc de Dallas est impossible d'exagérer, elle a literalement vu son mari être tué dans ses bras. Sa volonté de donner une exemple de courage et défiance pendant les jours qui suivaient et aux funérailles étaient trés impressionnant, elle a compris le fait: que pour ses brèves journées, les lumières resteraient sur elle et que c'était à lui d'articuler le sens du moment, même sans parler.

Cette femme à vécu des choses exceptionnel dans sa vie parfois magnifique et parfois dramatique mais se trouvé à côté d, une balle de fusil qui va explosés la tête de son mari à été dramatique pour le reste de sa vie , mais elle C, est toujours montré digne malgré les atrocités de sa vie une très belle femme dans les pires moments à garder une classe incroyable.❤❤❤❤

Why are using "his" to describe Jackie's qualities/actions, when it should be "her". What a basic error to make! And you have text over people's names, like Oleg Cassini, so we can't see who's talking. Bad translating and editing. Her mother's name was Janet, not Jeanette. Can't be bothered to watch this, with so many errors in the first 10 minutes.
