After reading some of the comments it's apparent that some don't understand the era. Not excusing the infidelity at all but marriage in general but especially in the "upper class" during that time was viewed very differently than today. The thing that amazes me was the age of Jackie at the time of becoming 1st Lady & death of her husband 31 years old & then 33. The class she displayed, how she carried herself can't be matched by those of the same age in today's society. Whether you agree, like or don't like the Kennedys you have to say that Jackie was a Lady

@@YeshuaKingMessiah Lee and Jacqueline were trained by Janet Bouvier Auchincloss, their mother, to marry powerful men who could provide financial security. Mrs. Auchincloss was a socially ambitious woman who controlled every area of her daughters lives, down to whom they slept with. During one time, Mrs. Auchincloss got wind of Jacqueline becoming involved with someone whom Mrs. Auchincloss had investigated and learned he didn't earn enough money for her tastes; she slapped Jackie across the face for this perceived poor decision. When Lee started carrying on an affair during her first marriage, Mrs. A approached Lee's husband, telling him he had until morning to vacate her Newport premises. He left promptly. Jackie ruined the scheduled union between Lee Bouvier Radziwill and hotelier Newton Cope. An hour before the wedding ceremony was to commence, Jacqueline stepped in to demand that Cope agree to a prenuptial agreement before going down the aisle with Lee. Cope pushed back, saying he really wanted to marry Lee because he loved her. Negotiations didn't go the way Jackie wanted, so the wedding was called off five minutes before it was scheduled to begin. Cope and Bouvier went on the honeymoon instead. This family was willing to climb anyone's back they could as long as they got what they wanted, which was money and power.

The stalker definitely kept the image of Jackie alive. His job was to give what people want: glimpses of glamour. No one is talking about Jackie's death, though. She died of a lethal injection, not of cancer. Yes, "euthanasia"..

love both women but Lee is my favorite. She got to do some really cool things and lived a great life.

Her personal assistant said Jackie was a very nice person. She was her personal assistant for 13 years. When she was older she wrote a book.
