thanks for sharing, hard groovin' talent, Miles Davis's hard bop favourite saxophonists Sonny Rollins/Jackie McLean, gifted cats, remember hearing Sonny Rollins live summer of 1978, the Joyus Lake club, Woodstock, NY, USA. Sonny had a Sure SM-58 microphone with cable wrapped around the bell and mic dropped right into the bell of Sonny's tenor sax, mic plugged directly into a Fender guitar amp, what a sound, great to hear these heroes boppin'!
