"I paid it back in jokes," right up there with, "You KNOW what to do" and others, as a contender for the single, greatest line in the history of the show.

I love all the old pat cooper, Joan Rivers, Gilbert Gotfried, Richard Simmons, Mark Harris, compilations, but I think 🤔 I've heard them all, several times. This was so funny, even before they got into Jackie's, borrowing money, and not paying back, Again.. Robin, was in hysterics, when Jackie, stated" I payed him in jokes!😢😢😮😅😊

In the 80s and 90s before this. There had been really tense exchanges between Jackie and Howard. Howard would allude to the fact that Jackie was in the comedy business. He performed at Some Of the clubs that the really big time people performed at and performed every club that they performed at before they were famous. And he would always allude to the fact that Jackie doesn't seem to have anybody in the comedy circuit.Who is interested in helping him get ahead and become a star The way he thinks they would. Rodney was the person that Jackie claimed to be closest to. So this whole thing confirmed for Howard. That Jackie cannot work well with anyone andJackie's ideas about becoming a star.if He had not come to the stern show was just a fantasy.

After Rodney left at Howard, started asking about. Why Rodney was not acknowledging?Jackie in the studio is when I knew something really huge was going to Happen. Jackie had been talking forever since he came on the show about how he worked with Rodney. And wrote for rodney. But suddenly just like that, he was ready to tell Howard. No, none of that happened.I didn't really work for him.I didn't really that was all made up. Everybody who listened to the show for a long time.Knew that that was a really big deal to.Jackie was his one big contact with real show business.Add something he loved to talk about and boast about. So when he was ready in a heartbeat to just concede that he never worked with Rodney. That that never happened. He won't do that unless he is just desperate to make this subject.end immediately before they talk , any more about it. Before anything causes rodney to turn around and come back in. Jackie is thinking I just dodged a bullet.God please don't have Rodney come back in now. Jackie so quick to say I made all that up When that had been so precious to him. is why we should never believe any of his story that came out later while being confronted.

Howard got ALL HE COULD out of Jacky/wife (a performer, songwriter etc.) Some people forget this because Artie came right behind Jacky. (so that there wasn't even a hiccup. Even Jacky's RAISE DEMANDS were endearing. "Pay me or i walk." Not many would say this to a Howard Stern, I know I wouldn't. Just a fearless guy who'll always be remembered, long after Jacky's gone.

It was crazy how cheap Jackie was… he was getting Super Rich just for being on Howard Stern. The only times I’d see him “Pop Up!” Was when he either wanted to plug something or to ask for a raise! He wasn’t just one of the most overpaid guys, he was robbing the bank! He was making over $500k of what he should’ve got paid and was worth? He had to be one of stupidest people in America threatening them to Walk… like they weren’t already fed up with him asking for a new raise every 3-4 months for the past 5yrs! Even Howard was like “Jackie what are u doing?” The guy owned like six huge houses 6rms,basement.a bar area and a deck! And two of them were by the beach, and refused to tell ppl what he paid for them… he actually started to hate them bcuz the property taxes were so high and made him feel like he was getting robbed every time he paid them! 😂 His merch was the worst, years of him showing the cheapest shirts he can buy with the cheapest print machine they could find to make at home… Howard was embarrassed for him! 😂
