I understand her so well. Some people don't understand mental pain. I have hard time myself sometimes admitting I'll have to be on antidepressant my whole life. I tried everything to be "clean" of medication. But as my therapist says, there is no shame in getting "help". It should be as socially acceptable as taking insulin everyday when you suffer from diabete. I do hope she will find the strength to get out of this hole. She seems like a very nice girl.

I take a high dose of antidepressants too and will never go off them. Your metaphor comparing them to a diabetic taking insulin is so true. All the best.

My heart breaks for her I really hope Jackie gets better off the streets and even if she has to take medication all of her life thars okay as long as it helps her . I’ve been on suboxone for almost 5 years now. There is so much stigma around maintenance meds, especially in NA, and it is something the deterred me from NA early on in recovery. Megan if you need to be on subs, that is your decision and if it saves your life and helps give you a life back, then who cares what others think or say. You will have lots of support. I pray you get off the streets and into recovery, I can see you doing well!

She is so special and so are you Jeff. You treat people like they are your best friend everyone has a special story and I got high since I was 12 and I am a very old man now almost 67 and I have had many years fairly clean but I have only been really clean for the last 4 or 5 years.

Im 5 minutes in and this is heartbreaking. Just her starting off saying she was great and correcting herself- omg i do that so much! Not correcting myself but saying im good or great when im far from it. Then just everything so far, up until mom passing and not being able to pay the taxes on the house! Thats such a horrible thing to go thru, my husband and i lost our home in '08 bc similar reasons. I just cant believe she has been out there 5 months and JUST began doing what she ia doing. I want to hug this girl. I hope she can find the strength to somehow stop doing these things. Its hard, i know! I am praying for her - i have so much more to watch.....but already this is relatable and i just wish i could help. I agree COMPLETELY with the one who posted before me- She does NOT deserve to be out there 💯 🙏❤️✌🏼 Edit: just curious- would u be able to help her get her prescription antibiotics filled? She said shes having a hard time getting them filled bc she is in the chair. I dont think she wants to ask. She NEEDS those asap. Thanks for all u do Jeff! This one really resonated w me❤

11:28 that really pulled at my heartstrings. I just got clean off kratom, used it to get off opiates. My doctor is helping me detox off valium. I want to get off drugs, yet I fear feeling like this lady, because the reason why I got on drugs is not being/may not be able to be addressed and I also hate that I could ruin others lives because of this non-drug reason that made me turn to drugs. I used drugs to get out of bed, the thought of the day ahead intimidated me. I do NOT want to discourage anyone from getting clean, obviously, I just fear this part of me that I fear is getting more and more depressed, the cleaner I become off drugs. My background is similar to hers, abuse. The abuse is not the problem, the drugs are the result, the problem is the consequences of the choices I made in between the abuse and the drugs. I’m still getting clean, I just want to be able to correct the choices I made which are the reasons I turned to drugs. I think I feel the same way about my abusers as her, sorry for them.

I love her outright attitude of this occured & not being ashamed about it. Kensington has become a dog eat dog area where there's no loyalty to anyone like there was years ago. I think she is a person who may respond to mushrooms or one of those associated drugs. I've come to think that people who are workaholics stay at work bc at work they feel in control & know what to do. At home they feel like they have no control or don't know what to do. Crazy bc 99% of parents are winging it everyday until their kids hit at least 30.

I watch these interviews & am always astonished to see how much poison the human body can tolerate to avoid a full shutdown/death. Since these addicts cannot stop ingesting whatever poison is made available to them - & the poisons are getting much more potent/deadly - will the end result be DARWINISM or DEATH? There's a physical tipping point somewhere. With the poisons being made purposely stronger/more addictive, there's a line the body cannot cross & DEATH will be the end result for 80% of them. In turn removing them from the gene pool, so maybe Darwinism wins in the end. Hoping they can all find peace & recovery in 2024. Keep up the great work Jeff!

Hey Jeff. Just sometimes I’ve noticed in every interview you’ve gone to adjust the mic - ( even Amber ) and some feedback PLEASE take into consideration. These woman flinch and look terrified for a split second when you reach over without warning. Most people might not notice but it kills me to see it. I literally scream if someone walks up behind me because of my past let alone go to touch me without my consent. Just say hey I need to adjust the mic is that ok or give some warning. Please 🙏🏽
