All really nice and nice looking people. I se them all having a chance to get clean n back to a normal life. You gotta fight for it. Nothing ever worth having came easy. It can and has been done. Jeff is prime example.

Jeff I admire what you do. I can relate to you a lot I myself am coming up on 5 years clean and suffer from depression. I now work at an addiction recovery center and love your videos. One of the most fascinating places Peter didn’t go in PA was the Shamokin, Cumberland, Coal Township, RANSHAW area. My husbands family lived in Ranshaw & it’s a fascinating coal mine town & coal mountains are 30” tall. The creek is pure orange from all the rusted equipment left behind in the mines. Grandpa’s house was on the Main Street & still has an outhouse & coal stove. CRAZY stuff. You’d be blown away.

My cats LOVE Fancy Feast dry & canned. Get him a brother or sister to keep company. Glad he’s better!!!

What’s the story with the lady with the deformed leg? Does anyone know her story?

I live on the streets of Denton, Texas. There are 1278 unsheltered people living on the streets in a college city of 140K. We cannot put up a tent in Texas. The heat is so intense. I work a full-time job at night and I cannot afford to even rent a room at $1300 per month. I have no addictions, good work history, and no criminal record.My credit score went to 326 from 805 after a house foreclosure from my wife's cancer and a HER2 brain tumor, These people have a nice setup. This is luxury compared to where I sleep. What a nice setup under a highway overpass and trees. I am a 15 wait list for senior housing but is 15 wait. My personal opinion is better to camp in NC, PA, or NJ where there are trees and hills. Not everyone who is homeless has drug addictions, mental health issues, or criminal record. Circumstance like medical crises can put you on the streets.

I actually just told someone’s mom to reach out to you because she is looking for a loved one in Kensington & she was talking about how she doesn’t exactly like mal or what hes doing/how hes doing it (for example: he can not hand out things other people donated without it being on csmera.) anyway so I told her she should reach out to you if either 1. She wants to go out there and look for her. Or 2. Just wants to know that she is ok because you may know. I said you help out the best you can and you actually consider the people you interview as friends & see them as people & you try to do you best for EVERYONE you meet or come across. instead of like mal.. saying “giving a voice to the voiceless” smh. Just because they’re addicts doesn’t mean they’re voiceless. He is such an embarrassment.

Addicts are not losers. They cope. Everybody comes some way. Love is the way. I'm a school bus driver and I see children every single day in situations they can not control bc of the house they live in. I know for a fact if they had access they would use it. Love and understanding and support is the answer. We are not to judge we should be compelled to raise them up. Everybody hits rock bottom I don't care who you are. I waited tables in a bar full of rich kids who shot up in the bathroom. They had it all aka money. Money don't mean shit. Love and compassion and innerstanding is the way. Let's do our part. If you see someone having a bad day, make it better. When my kids are down I do my best to lift them up every time. I stay on it too. I don't give up on them. Mad love to y'all and don't ever think for one second we ain't thinking of y'all.

Jeff, you should come to Rochester NY. Its literally very similar to here. So sad it is. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. Its so hard trying to help when they are so dependent on these very powerful drugs. Breaks my heart everyday, to know its someone son or daughter out on these streets. Thank you for all you do.

Just this morning I saw a picture of a girl riding a motor scooter from 1916, they used AI to make it look like she was moving. Of course she didn't look like her, but the scooter was surprisingly similar given the date. I don't remember motor or electric scooters being around when I was a kid, just foot powered.
