Holyshit, I WOULD LOVE to hear a fully recorded and mixed version of this demo on a future W.A.S.P. album, maybe as a bonus track.

Holy shit! This is Crimson Idol stuff....way back then! Just shows how long that album had been putting itself together in Blackie's head. Thanks for uploading this!

@OzzyGezzy listen to both and youll see the difference, blackie just rehashed this song for his crimson idol album. the titanic overture says "dont feel like a BOY" and never does it say "dont know what I am" its just the opening verse and then its all instrumental
@mattcalise431612 жыл бұрын
Just as good, if not better than the version on the idol. That one had the epic instrumental in the middle, but this has an awesome refrain. I wish he used the refrain from this

Somebody should put together a complete collection of Blackie Lawless' pre-W.A.S.P. recordings, with him on vocals. I have a collection with demos and such from the bands Killer Kane Band, Sister, Circus Circus and London, but the sound quality is shitty, at best. The material deserves to be published with decent quality.
@crosswalklarry4 ай бұрын
Not much you can do to make these multi generation cassette copies sound better. I doubt Blackie has the masters anywhere.
@pilsking19764 ай бұрын
@@crosswalklarry Yeah, it would have to be made from the original cassettes/vinyls, from back in the day. 5th generation cassette copies won't do...

Your opinion matters...my opinion is if they didn't have such weird stage antics and band name they would of been a household name like Motley Crue. Blackie Lawless has a raw rock voice that blows Vince Neil out of the water and he is so talented if he generated that into a better band get up they would of been like Alice Cooper.
@tamiladybite9564 жыл бұрын
They were definitely bigger in the 80's than the 90's. I agree, extremely underrated but I don't think that Blackie would've wanted to be commercial like the Crue.
