I've gotta be honest...after watching so many interviews this past year of Kit and Joe, as their real selves...I was worried they'd aged out of their characters or lost touch with them. I’m so protective of HS books since the original comics dropped in two week increments, but Imogen and Isaac are such lovely TV additions. I can never get over how costuming and music are treated in this show. It reminds me of My So Called Life when I watched it in real time as a kid same age as Angela and thought this is us. I really hope the young people see themselves in HS. It’s so life affirming to be known. And there will be joy too! We’ve got the teachers in love and we’ve got Michael Holden. It’ll be absolutely intense and totally perfect.

I work in a high school, and this show has taught me so much about teenage love and relationships. I appreciate it so much as i deal with their age group on a daily basis and see for myself the emotional rollercoaster lots of these teens experience when navigating relationships. The Heartstopper universe isn't just for young people, I have been scooped up and embraced by it, and my life has been enhanced. It really is the gift that keeps on giving and long may it thrive. X

This series is going to be the most emotional personally. Being a trans guy and going through so much dysphoria and being uncomfortable dating because of it (and being bi in top), the lack of help with being trans in the uk, plus having been an inpatient for anorexia nervosa as a teenager (in hindsight partially due to dysphoria as well as life stresses and changes etc…), it’s going to hit so hard ugh. If this series gets renewed for a 4th season, it will be a major slap-in-the-face to the _Young Royals_ production. I think _Young Royals_ deserved a 4th season every bit as much if not more than this series.
