I have a little theory as to why Lu Guang is so hellbent on preventing Cheng Xiaoshi dying, I think he has deep romantic feelings for him but hasn't shot his shot in fear of rejection or in fear of the show getting canceled for disobeying chinese laws🪦

Hey I mean could be. China does heavily censor lgbtq content and the creators would probably get in a serious amount of trouble for it. The thing is it would make sense if that were the case in the end. Although it could just be he sees him like a brother to him and like family, and him dying would be equivalent to watching your own flesh and blood dying informs of you.

@@topknluvr hey I mean did you see the way we saw Cheng Xiaoshi through Lu Guangs perspective?? Like he saw him as this massive ball of sunshine that he just wanted nothing more than to protect and keep safe.

Tbh I hate that their relationships are barely explained just like lu guang past and all we have is this basketball scene and scene where he says “uh huh I like that he’s naive” 🫠 would be nice to get more flashbacks and explanation in general next season. Anyways this show deserves a half-opened ending cuz we all understand they can’t give us romantic storyline but still we can read between the lines and if the story ended with some small hint it would be win-win for everyone
