Scary watching you do the brass bowl with a hand-held wood cutter. Metal cutters are nothing like that. The bowl turned out very nice. Bet that cutter was dull when you were done. Loved them all.

I don't know if I've ever seen a piece better suited for resin than the first piece.

For me the scariest part was at the end with you sawing towards your hand with the video running at high speed.

I always thought the potato gun was an American thing. You’re not American right Jack Mack? You’re from the UK right?

I am. Spud guns definitely started in the uk. 👍🏻

Just finished watching the first one, and have to comment. It looks amazing! I was wondering what kept it from just flying apart when you were hogging out the inside -- those cracks from the fire seemed so deep! Had you done something to stabilize the piece that I just missed? Second video -- that burl was so beautiful, and you made it even more so -- it ended up looking like a flower! Third video -- I'm impressed by the quality of the wood inside the bowling pin -- I would have expected it to be pressed sawdust, not solid wood. Fourth video -- another beautiful burl becoming a fantastic bowl. At this point, I'm wishing you would talk and explain why you consider these situations to be shocking and scary. I'm a little surprised by your results, surprised by your decisions to remove the bumps from the burls with the lathe rather than by some means that might be less dangerous -- seems like those chips could fly off and hurt you -- but so far I'm not really shocked or scared. I watch woodturning videos to see interesting and beautiful projects being made, but I'm not above clicking on something with a click-baitish title.
