good creative effort, the piece is pleasing to view. The only drawback is the "touchy" stability that arises from the two quite narrow feet. Makes me want to see some wider footprints, flaring out both sides would be in keeping with the sleek appearance of the piece.

Wow amazing. Only found your channel a few weeks ago and the items you turn are fantastic, especially the unusual items with resin or the coloured wood. I’m a crafter, paper crafts & sewing and I know how long things take to make but intrigued roughly how long your items take?

Totally depends on the piece. Resin pieces usually take longer as it has to cure. The time depends on the variation of resin used. What sort of stuff have you been making recently?

Amazing. Did you break any of these before pulling this off? There was a couple of points I thought you would have cracked it. Ive never worked with Yew, but does not strike me as a hard or strong wood.
@JackMackWoodturning Жыл бұрын
No i didn’t break any. Iv made many of these in the past. Yew is a very dense strong wood, it’s also a wood with exceptional tensile strength. It was prized for these qualities and used extensively for long bows in medieval times 👍🏻

I enjoyed the video. I'm watching on a TV with soundbar and subwoofer. At 8:45 there is a really low rumble in the audio track that sounds like heavy machinery is making our house shake. It's maybe not a bad idea to remove low frequencies from the audio track with a high pass filter. Cheers!

I can’t believe people are questioning what this is! To me it’s a Trinket Box, but that’s not all it could be, with any type of art i believe there’s only two things that matter in defining what that piece of artwork is, the artist’s interpretation and the viewer’s perception! Art is for arts sake. To me this trinket box is beautiful and functional and that’s all that matters to me.
