@@Deactivatedsorry Honestly I'm nit-picking but it goes Genus then species, so for a wolf (Canis lupus) and coyote (Canis latrans), they're both in the genus Canis (canines) because this is a larger taxonomic group and can refer to multiple animals it's always presented first, followed by the species name (lupus/latrans) which only refers to that individual animal. Part of scientific names is that they're meant to follow a specific order and be the same across all languages to avoid confusion in the scientific community In the informational video the creatures are listed in reverse, (eg, Scandere Carnis, Ignavus Carnis, Mutuari Carnis) It's clear what they were going for, to say Carnis is the genus, but by listing it second it means 'carnis' is the species and Scandere, Ingavus, Mutuari etc are the genus. Listing it this way is simply incorrect I'm not certain on this next bit, but because all forms of the Vita carnis creatures are grown from the crawl, they are not separate species at all, and are instead different castes of the same, albiet very variable, species and so I believe should all have the same scientific name, followed by a specification of what form they are (based on what I've seen with frog and salamander names)

same. its why killing kids in media is always a no-no. It usually kills a show bc nobody wants to think or watch that. So when it does happen, its really unnerving. The worse aspect is the mother dying too in my opinion. Like, imagine you hear your kid dying so you run to help them but you know that you physically cannot save them. Ik id rather die trying to save them, even if i knew I couldn't. Thats just heart breaking. It just gets worse the more you think about it too.
