Nice video. It's interesting that Rebecca liked Glass Bead more in terms of music. It reminds me of those who were first introduced to Gfriend when they came on to the Kpop scene. Many were drawn to their bright, energetic and innocent air as well as impressed by their vocal and synchronized dancing. It is the foundation for the rise of their "Powerful Innocence" era. It also strikes me that many already familiar with kpop tend to show preference for Apple for its more mature style of image, sound, and dancing. Regardless, the reaction to their changes before and after is consistent regardless of the musical preference.

I became a Buddy shortly after "Time For the Moon Night" was released and I prefer their older title tracks to their newer ones. I love the soaring strings and real instruments. There aren't many K-pop groups that use real instruments in their songs.

@@davidfrischknecht8261 I understand your point. I personally am also more drawn to their signature orchestral pop sound that is more prominent in their earlier work. I still like their more recent work but I suspect my liking of their personality now has something to do with it . Of course their vocal and choreo remain a constant to enjoy.

What a great concept for a different angle on Gfriend. Rebecca you are a natural at this and I would love to see you react to Gfriend’s early songs which I can tell you would love. Powerful innocence was their trademark until they grew up and it wasn’t as appropriate any more so now they are developing a more mature style.

If she's study filmmaking, I suggest u to make her react to Crossroads. It's even more like real movie than music video either. Idk about the music, but since she likes glassbead more than Apple, I think she might also like it. It's rare when westerns choose Gf's older ones over Apple. Anw, I love how she kept saying they're beautiful, esp in glassbead one. Bcause on debut days they were called not suitable to be kpop idols, because they're ugly. Esp Umji in 2016. Gfriend were 15-18yo during glassbead thats why they have a school concept and in apple comeback they are already over 21yo thats why their concept are more matured now. They always do songs that are appropriate to their age. She might like gfriends earlier songs. I hope she can react to them too. Also during their debut the company is on debt thats why they cut their budget on everything but they paid everything after 2 years thats why they can spend more on clothes and quality of the mvs.
