Thank you, jacknjellify, for continuing BFDI after all these years (even if I joined the fandom only about eleven months ago). Remember, do not overwork yourselves. I only watched this episode once so far (I will likely rewatch it soon), so I cannot give too many specific comments on it so far. Giving more lore on the Davids is interesting, and it is fun that the contestants travel to different biomes. I like how Marker calls Puffball PB at 22:25, similar to the other balls. When Tree says that Puffball is "clever" at 23:01, that is so true. I enjoy Puffball's creative in-the moment ideas, and TPOT 4 shows it even more. I like how Bottle's crying goes inside of herself. I could probably say more after I rewatch the episode. However, I would like to talk about a particular scene that has bothered me. 12:13. So this is the scene in which Tennis Ball tells Puffball that Golf Ball will not allow her to go to Davidland with them. Fries, who is supposed to be best friends with Puffball (which is mentioned in the BFDI Official Character Guide) does not appear to have any reaction to this. Not even his expression shows anything. He just simply goes along with it. This contrasts to TPOT 3. After Golf Ball got angry and Tennis Ball got upset about Puffball making the dangerous roller coaster, Fries says that there is no need to dwell on it and gets them to focus on the actual challenge. I do not know what Sam had in mind, but to me, it seemed as if Fries were trying to stand up for Puffball. Probably many in the fanbase know about friendships such as Coiny and Pin, and Tennis Ball and Golf Ball. However, there are others, such as Fries and Puffball, and Donut and Barf Bag, and Gaty and Saw, that do not appear to be as well-known, and I wonder if you guys sometimes forget about them. Perhaps I am being harsh on one scene out of an over thirty-minute episode. Please do not get the wrong idea; there are things about this episode that bother me, but that does _not_ mean that it was a failure; there is still good to it. I do not want you to discouraged; it is possible to learn, to improve your writing. I watched the Let's Keep BFDI Casual Video, and I have been trying to be less harsh when criticizing BFDI; I have been trying to keep it in mind. I do not know whether any of you will actually see this, but if you do, and read, it, thank you.

@@laavv Yes!!! Maybe he did not want to cause conflict, as that would distract them from the challenge. He is shown to put importance on the challenge. Maybe he figured that during the challenge was not the best time to comment about it, as then they might be distracted. I think of the scene in BFB 12 where Fries says not now to Puffball (well technically Rocky) when she vomits. I do not necessarily think he is in the wrong for this; if he let himself get distracted (as if refolding Foldy were helpful, but the point is that he _was_ trying to help), then Free Food could have lost, and then someone, perhaps even Puffball, would have had to be sent to the EXIT. (I mean, she _was_ in the bottom two in BFB 9.) Maybe his reaction (or lack of) in TPOT 4 was something like this. But maybe jacknjellify just forgot about their friendship. It would have been better if there were even a slight reaction, perhaps in the form of a facial expression. jacknjellify, if you are reading this, keep in mind that it _is_ only natural to make mistakes, and you can learn from them.

Absolutely loved this episode, definitely the best one we got so far and the fact that it was released at such a swift rate is even better. The new Cake at Stake intro looks absolutely stunning, props to Antony Kos and Highvan for working on it. The challenge was super interesting with the different teams protecting their plants in their own unique biomes, Puffball on the other hand...she surprised me. Did not expect to see this antagonistic side to her but I gotta admit she's really smart, using Ice Cube to sabotage DPA and taking advantage of their death prevention pledge, which succeeded. Also I do really like the few references of past BFDI/BFDIA episodes sprinkled on here. Fantastic episode as always. [I].
