Gaty has always been one of my favorite characters ever since she was around in BFB, and seeing her being eliminated was heartbreaking to me. Two’s reaction was very emotional as well, seeing them acting distant for most of the episode. I am happy that Two gave her the position that Clock used to have, but interested to see what One will do to her. Great episode! Can’t wait for TPOT 15!

I think this is my favourite TPOT episode yet! Gaty’s elim hurt, but she’s already being set up for a new storyline. GB is actually getting the underdog edit which we haven’t seen from her. Previously understated characters like TV and Bottle got a LOT of focus which I loved. I’m also starting to see a bit of a SLIGHTLY villainy side from Winner, and I’m wondering if that’s gonna develop or if it’s just me. Pencil is really interesting so far, Yellow Face did something that might start him on a redemption arc if he can stay long enough. Absolutely amazing work to everyone involved! ❤

27:25. This entire scene is truly a masterpiece and I’m going to explain why. Firstly, I’m biased due to being a fan of Match since the beginning of BFDI. There’s so much hidden meaning to the scene and it’s incredible. Match waking up in a dream like place that she sees the BFB 4b area as beautiful, given what she’s lived in for 6 years. She walks forwards and is in awe, and she’s in the light at this point. I think this shows her journey and her starting off in the light, being someone who people liked. As she keeps going towards the right, showing her moving to the future, she goes into the dark of the temple, showing her progression and her time in BFDIA and BFB and she even acknowledges it as “yucksicles”, acknowledging she even says she hates who she used to be. But as she goes down the steps, it’s her going down towards a new start and a new light is found, and two people of her past are found on the other side of the darkness, showing they stuck through every chapter of Match’s journey and they’re waiting for her. As Match looks at them, this could be defined as her “I made it” moment. That last expression on her face conveys so many emotions, shock, excitement and her ready to take the next steps on her journey to redemption. And all of this scene was communicated in 5 WORDS! 5 WORDS! And all of those words were necessary to understand Match’s journey. And the BFB music adds to that sense of wonder to the scene as a whole, and the music flows with Match and her journey through her progression as well. As a Match fan, this scene is amazing and I need more of Match and her journey! Thank you JnJ for this masterpiece!!

Omg I love when people write these long paragraphs. I am an over thinker myself and I really do agree with this. I have been not a big fan of match at the start of watching BFDI (feb 14 2024 - June this year) but looking into her character (and doing silly impressions) she has quickly become one of my favourite characters (2nd fav first is pen )and I do still hate the fact I never voted her back. It was the time between TPOT 12 and 13 were she became my 2nd favourite. Personally I want to do an entire deep dive into matches character with some others (pencil especially bc of this episode, leafy, pen , woody, blocky). Matches especially because now of all times she seemed to be one of the most best written characters at this point. Her eliminations had always been really early too because ig some people thought she was mean and the like gag was annoying. I really can’t wait to see what jnj will do next for her (I’m kinda hoping she ditches pencil not because I don’t like pencil but because she needs to learn that she wasn’t really the best influence on her while pencil makes new friends like idk maybe a gb and pencil ark because it seems to them that everyone is against them and would be so funny). I also think that they shouldn’t just leave this a cliffhanger until the last episode of TPOT where she just goes oh yea I’m now friends with bubble and Ruby and never know why or worse just get a like flashback that episode. 3:15 Moments like this are the reason I think Bottle deserves to stay much longer. She's so entertainingly lighthearted and you can tell she doesn't have a bad bone in her bottle. She helps her team and cares about winning challenges, but takes the time to have fun whilst competing, taking the show more as a fun game with friends, unlike most of the other contestants.
