Auto-darkening has it issue and backlight is one. $30 at Harbor Freight will get you a 750 Lumans and magnetic swiveling 360 base. Then stick it and illuminate the area of concern. With thick metal hinge requires great angle, control and you are getting it done! Thank you!

You'll find it welds much better if you drag it. Never push FC, you can on mig because there is no flux to contaminate the puddle. If it has slag you drag. Good luck

i nebwr thought yeswelder could be that good ...🤔 as for me am using "esab A-50" for my welding helmet and am happy with it. But what you have said...i mihht consider a "yeswelder" welding machine as my 1st option once am looking for one....thanks and more power to u and your videos 👍

I was really digging it until I saw that it was synergic and only allowed relative voltage adjustment. Synergic can be nice, but I'd still want to get out of that mode and just play with the separate settings. Too bad. Just about everything else on this machine looks fantastic! I know this is a welding machine for novices, the issue is that they'll outgrow it really fast and want a different machine with separate adjustments. I'll bet they could fix that with a firmware update, though...

There is a plus or minus voltage fine tune adjustment. It makes quite a difference. For someone who plans to do a lot of welding your right, they may outgrow it. For the average DIYer though I think it would be just the ticket. Thanks for watching.

I got one and was a little disappointed about that. Most of cheap ones are like that. If you use .30 wire set it .35 and there's enough burn in. Also tighten the spool down and it will slow the wire down a bit. The thing that made me most angry is the mig for gas wand is fake and there's no hose for gas going back to the machine.

If you’re not interested in the wire feed feature, they make smaller, more compact stick only machines.

I realize this may well be a daft question, but I'm trying to wrap my head around an aspect and it just ain't clicking. For stick, you use both negative and positive terminals, which makes a circuit, which gets you an arc. But I've seen people in Flux mode run it wrong, with the work piece/welding table plugged into negative, yet they still get an arc (and more spatter for their trouble). How's that work? Now, in my head, I'm just assuming somewhere inside the machine that the Flux wire gets it's DCEN connection when the machine is in flux core mode, it's the - to - yielding an arc I don't grasp. Good review, by the way. It's genuinely appreciated. ^.^

Let me take a swing at this one for you. DC electricity needs a path to flow and the electrons flows from negative to positive. The electrode and ground leads coming out of your welder and the work piece are the path and electrons are flowing from negative to positive. Regardless of whether you are in a DC electrode positive (DCEP) or electrode negative (DCEN) mode, the path is still there and electrons are still flowing from negative to positive and will create an arc in either direction. So for those you have seen with the ground plugged into the negative and it still works, it is likely because their welder has not been configured to DCEN mode. My YesWelder MP 200 has a bus bar that needs to be flipped to make it a DCEN. The Flux 135 Pro does not have that requirement. You simply use the appropriate sockets. So to verify, I set my 135 Pro like you described. Flux wire MIG and the ground in the negative socket. It did not make an arc. This is because there is no internal connection between the negative socket and the MIG gun. Whew!!! I hope I understood your question correctly and that answer cleared it for you.

@@jackofalltrades7822 Woot. No, you understood perfectly, and the explanation makes sense with what I thought I knew. :P I'm now profoundly baffled about the guy who seemed to get an arc despite it being negative on both sides, but I'll have to track that video down. :P I swear, electricity to me is like quantum physics. Whenever I think I have a grasp, something comes along to prove otherwise, so I was figuring that was the case here. ^.^ I was meaning to test later today or tomorrow, but I appreciate you giving it a whirl for me. Thanks for being awesome.

Isn't the feed wheel reversible, where one side is for the 30, and taken off and turned around, the other side is for the 35? Maybe the 35 side was feeding (and slipping) the 30 wire?

@@pinefighter1 I have used it with a generator. Mine was a 6,500 watt inverter generator but I would think that a 3k would do it. I have been told that you must use an inverter type generator with these inverter welders.

I just ordered this welding machine on amazon yesterday, should i use 6013 rods? or is there any specific that are better for this machine
@jackofalltrades7822
@jackofalltrades7822 2 ай бұрын
@@tavor7248 6013 are a non structural rod with a low tensile strength. A lot of people use them because they are easy to use but I they are intended as a root weld rod to be covered with a 7018 or similar rod. The machine will weld any of them so your rod selection should be based on the steel thickness your welding, and the strength needed.
