Jack, I travel for work and travel all over the US. Rudys is hands down the best bbq place in the world. There is no such thing as better brisket or smoked turkey. Their meats are the most moist and flavorful that you can find. I have been to several of their places and would drive 100 miles out of my way to eat there. In the evenings, they are so busy that the line is out the door wrapped around the building. Hands down the bbq you can eat. I agree with you on the sides. But when you come here, its for the bbq! Im a big fan of your channels and this is my favorite episode! Thanks!!!

I'm from NM! The drive to Texas is so boring form NM lol I moved to Austin and it wasn't until we got in TX that we finally got to see some cool stuff.

I have been down I-40 many, many times to Oklahoma from California and at 3:18 or so, they say that the earth is running out of room for people to live. LOL I have to tell you,there is a whole lot of empty space between California and Oklahoma. A WHOLE LOT OF EMPTY SPACE. It is a very lonely drive if you drive it by yourself as I use to do.

We have Rudy's in Albuquerque. I love their turkey and brisket. Their sauce is pretty good too. I also like the cherry cobbler

Kinda cool that you guys went through NM because that's where I live. Did you happen to go through Albuquerque when you guys were on your way through? I only ask if you guys hit Albuquerque cause that's where I live in NM. It's kinda cool that you visited Rudy's in TX, they actually have some locations here and they are most definitely good.

How many hours a day did you drive? I can only do about 4.5 before I get all boogey-eyed and brain-mushed. Thanks for showing us the scenery. I've been to Tucson and loved it, so it was nice seeing some other Southwestern scenery. I hate when BBQ isn't smokey enough. Glad to see Rudy's comes through. Looks like good quality meat. we did around 9-10 a day but we'd stop and eat which reset us and gave us the energy to drive the last half. We really were excited to get here so it was easier than most drives.

Oh I don't know. I can understand why you have that opinion, but I disagree with you. Jack gets to make an interesting video (many of us love restaurant reviews) and the place get its name out to more people. Win-win. I don't see anything wrong with that. Especially because Jack always gives his HONEST opinion. If he doesn't like a place he says so, whether it gave him free samples or not.

They give samples to anyone that has not been to Rudys before. First time I went they gave me and everyone with me samples so we would know what to order. Actually the Rudys we went to gave us samples of every meat they had even the sausage.
