Jungkook said the “never let go” repeated chorus part is long because he actually tailored that part for a house dance performance. But he didn’t had enough time to record the performance before going to military. He was taking house dance lessons back in 2022. It’d have been more amazing to see the performance aswell but still it’s so good. Love how these festa songs are these unhinged outlets for his creative freedom. We got a jazz-lofi hit SWY, lyrics from our wv messages My You and now a hyperpop fused pop track because he got inspired from a sample... he's so UNPREDICTABLE and I love that.

I think what I like the most is that this was JK attempting something very different for him. It’s upbeat and it’s all-English. He is challenging himself, taking chances. That’s admirable. I will be honest. At first I was a little bummed that it wasn’t a mix of the two languages, but then I started thinking about the challenge of writing a song in a foreign language and it left me in awe. Someone pointed out in the comments that the never let goes is 11 times (11 years). That HAS to be intentional. I love this kid so much! 💜
