Jungkook said the “never let go” repeated chorus part is long because he actually tailored that part for a house dance performance. But he didn’t had enough time to record the performance before going to military. He was taking house dance lessons back in 2022. It’d have been amazing to see the performance aswell but still it’s so good. Love how these festa songs are these unhinged outlets for his creative freedom. We got a jazz-lofi hit Still With You, lyrics from our wv messages My You and now a hyperpop fused pop track because he got inspired from a sample.

Jungkook left a message on Weverse about an 1 hr or so ago - he asked if Army liked it and that it is a performance song (house genre dance) and that he was thinking of Army as he worked on it. I really enjoyed your reaction! This song made me smile. I missed JK's voice so much! I also read in my travels that in verse 1 where Jungkook says "Never Let Go" he says it 11xs representing BTS' 11th Anniversary and in verse 2 he says "Never Let Go" 12xs representing next year with BTS.💜

Let's dance, we're alive, and it's only a year until 7 great entertainers get back together. When Jin left there were estimates of 4-5 years until that day would come. Well imo, the lyrics are... kinda whatever, they're basically the same as every other bts fansong for army. Nothing new or exciting there. But the fact that JK is also credited for composing/producing on this? THAT is crazy. The instrumentals for this are so cool, so bouncy and intricately layered, and I LOVE those delicate, whirly synths. It suits JK's voice well. Man, I wish we could have seen the dance choreo that was supposed to go with this. 😭
