As a former wrestler I absolutely love these videos. I can totally relate to the sweat and looks on their faces as they pan the room for a moment during a hard practice. One thing that has ALWAYS amazed me more than anything else is seeing a college freshman become a national champion or a hs freshman become a state champion. That to me is such an incredible thing to accomplish. I was always a hard worker, but I always progressed in a linear fashion that took time and effort over the years of maturing and becoming more experienced. I couldnt imagine as a freshman winning a state title over a senior who was working towards a repeat or the same at the college level. There is something so unbelievably special in that accomplisent. I was there and I was not that guy and I could barely imagine being that guy. As a senior or junior it was a different story. I was more experienced, more matured and ready to take on that type of challenge. I have the utmost respect for any wrestler who achieves greatness as a champion at the state or national level. They are amazing athletes and the level of mental and physical toughness combined with the refinement of their skills is above anything else in the world of one on one combative competition.

Wrestlers have that look that scares people out. You know when you look at somone, and you dont want to mess with them. Thick neck, weird ears, scars all over faces.
