Good on 'em for gettin' off their backsides and making music, but. They're so derivative of Mazzy Star I can't really take it seriously. Sorry if I've upset anyone. It's unavoidable to have influences, but it's also OK to be yourself. Good luck in the future.

it's a little bit like Mazzy Star, but no more than any other artist is like anyone else. This feels like an "I know someone else like this who did it first so for some reason i'm going to put my foot down, on principle! *wobbling jowls noise*" while ignoring the level of inspiration literally every other band has from someone. Mazzy is more folky and dare i say, gloomy, This is modern and has hints of like 2000s EDM and pop effects, and that guitar sound.. It's just slightly haunting in some ways similar, you'd have to be a pretty casual music listener to go "the vibe is similar to ____! burn it!" with everything else not.

@@HAYDS510 Agree. Both have a bit of shoegazer vibe to them but Mazzy Star was much slower and gloomy. I saw them in concert in a small venue in Salt Lake City about 5 feet from the stage and Hope Sandoval was mesmerizing
