Hey you know that enemies on 1 hp thing at the start can be used for elites to get an easy relic/ item thingy , at the start you can see if you can get to an elite by clicking the map icon while by the whale guy .

Jack, I have some tips: Killing the mini bosses gives you reliques that sometimes helps you a lot, son don't completely skip them. Try to always have an empty spot for potions, is very common to get potions so if you use them you'll optimize that. You can skip taking a card after a combat, and a lot of times is better to skip. I recommend having your attacks and defense cards well balanced if possible. After every "Act" you regenerate all your vitals, so don't worry too much about losing health right at the end of a boss. Always do your attacks before your defenses, a lot of times you will be able to kill an attacker so you won't have to defend at all. I haven't play The Silent that much, but a good strategy for The Ironclad is to concentrate in abilities that give you more power and if you can get the card Heavy Sword you will be super OP. Glad to see jack's slowly getting better and better at this game, it's always nice to see the growth of someone (no matter what it's in. Minor or major). Also a small tip that i use for strategic games like this is to try to use every bit of information the game gives me. For example, in this run you could have got an easy elite kill from the far left side as each enemy encounter all the enemy's only had 1hp. Hope this helps :D (although it's probably a bit late).

Jack some helpful tips. 1: hits as many "?" as possible, they give u special cards, item, events & relics which helps in the long run. 2: Fight Elites if possible, they give u a relic after each one which is very important. 3: Relic Farm, the more relics u have the better ur chances to win there r some very powerful relics that can make this game fun as all hell. & 4: Plan out ur deck, most runs in slay the spire have a theme to it poison, shiv, ect. Find out what theme u want & keep to it if u just go random it's very hard to win & keep ur deck thin so u don't bloat ur deck

1. Pay attention to card costs. You don't want too many cards that cost 2 energy. They cost too much. 0 cost cards are beast. 2. Fight the elites. You have to fight them smartly, but they all drop relics. Relics are love. Relics are life. They are how you win. 3. You should make sure you aren't too low are health going into elite fights and you aren't far from a fire after them so you can heal up. 4. ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS check out the relics that the vendor has to sell even if you can't afford them. They let you know what is in the game and what you can get. 5. Dead enemies can't attack you. When fighting more than 2 enemies, always focus fire on one of them killing them ASAP. One big health hit by not blocking is better than death by a thousand cuts. 6. This is an awesome game to stream if you have the time as the community can help you through playing and suggest cards and why they are good. You should try it!!!

Hey Jack! Whenever you see a yellow word on a card in your hand, you can hover over the card for information! Also, some general questions answered... -Weakness doesn't stack in the amount of damage lost, but for the amount of turns you have weakness (E.G., weakness 5 doesn't give you -125% damage, it gives you -25% for 5 turns) -Elite monsters are difficult, but sometimes risking it for the relics is 100% worth it. A good relic early on REALLY helps in the game -Sometimes, focusing on a single trait for your character is a good idea (E.G., using "The Silent' and only grabbing poison cards can give you a really good poison block stall set) Hope this helps!!

Jack, "Curses" are cards that get put into your deck, some hinder you but you can remove or use them by disposing of them in your deck. Also if you get one don't do what i did and when you choose to transform a card, don't pick a curse thinking it's going to be a positive card, the only time it's a good card to change is when you can dispose of it in a match and it doesn't hinder you in anyway.

Jack i played a few hour with his game and my ultimate tip is righ now = wach out what kind of card you pick or buy. and vach out what kind of relics u can buy. because someone wery useful if u can pick it early. if you not miss too much life always upgrade your card. especially debuffs and dhose whats energy cost can be reduced to zero.

Here're some tips Jack: It's not always good to awoid bosses, you can get much better loot from them. Also, deal 4 damage twice, is FAR from being the same as deal 8 damage. Frist off, strength makes damaging cards deal one more damage for each stack. So in this case, deal 4 damage twice would become deal 5 damage twice (total of 10 dmg) while deal 8 damage would only become deal 9 damage. Also, there are enemies with specific mechanincs where a burst of big damage (like the enemy at 23:05) or multiple small damages (like the enemy at 21:05), are better.

Hey jack I play this game an ungodly amount lol a good deck to use with the silent is poison build, you essentially just stack poison on enemies and it causes destruction later on with higher health enemies! And one of my favorite sets is the relentless attacker set where you build your deck with a whole bunch of zero attack moves, the finisher card, and things you think will compliment the set! (Personally I trickle a little poison in) and colorless cards are sooo good!

The big boys drop relics, those relics can be amazing so you actually want to go vs them. At the start,, you could also have took the route to kill an Elite with 1HP so you missed a free relic which could be helping you out by a huge lot.

Consider going to the ? Spaces. Worst case you fight a normal battle, which offers cards and loot. Most of the ? events will give you generally positive effects. There's even a relic you can unlock that will prevent random battles from appearing in ? spaces. Also, if you're doing well consider fighting the big monsters as they will always give you a relic from defeating them and more relics is generally a good thing.

Remember to think about the cost when you buy stuff. For example if items are on sale you get so much for so little. It might not be the best card but the price is amazing and that means you can buy more stuff. And also try to calculate how much you can buy. The point of having cards that exhaust cards is good when you have things that give you cards that you can't play. It gets them out of your deck.
