THEY DID JOEL DIRTY
@scorpionzstorm71114 жыл бұрын
Gromdar Gaming27 mate i dont think they did joel dirty . I feel like people just think that “death type” determines if a character is respected or nah. He died because of saving ellie and the fact that his death gives ellie a meaningful lesson makes his death full of meaning and purpose . The fact that ellie stops the cycle because of joel gives him respect more than anything. People just stick to death part and ignore how well written the character is and how his life concluded. He wanted to do anything for his babygirl to survive and he achieved that purpose that unfortunately got him killed .
@jericocortes71944 жыл бұрын
Zubair khan they still did him dirty his death makes no fucking sense
@scorpionzstorm71114 жыл бұрын
JCO I respect you mate but i dont think there was anything stupid . I’d be surprised if he didn’t die in part 2 . Plus i wont say the did him dirty when whole ending was a tribute to joel . It was his impact that made ellie the “bigger” person in end . And the fact that joel would “do it all over again” just reinforces how he’s ready to give his life for her surrogate daughter and this justifies his act . Idk man his arc ended perfectly

There's something around 1:18:00 where Troy talks about how people can reject the change in you because it reflects how they haven't changed. That made me think about recently when I started watching Seán again. I watched literally every video twice a day for two or three years before getting busy with life a few years ago. And I changed as a person, so when I came back and saw how different Seán looked and acted it made me genuinely really happy. It was like re-afirming that not only had I changed but so had everything else, and it wasn't a bad thing. So while it may make people upset when something they were used to being a certain way changes when they haven't, it's also really nice to have something change as you have without you even realising it until you take a look at it

I'm 13 years old and I've been watching since you were under 1 million subscribers. Your videos are still amazing and I can't believe you reached almost 23 million subscribers already. You've gotten me through tough times and I used to watch you're videos everyday. I even knew your schedule. It's been many years but I believe you posted at 10am and 1pm MDT. I was the second comment on 3 of your videos and I was so proud xD. You are honestly one if my favorite KZbinrs. You bring so much joy and I love the charity live stream events. Have an amazing rest of your year and just know that we love you and to keep up spreading happiness to the world.

31:30 - 32:52 Also if your kid comes to you with something dont think it's your problem to go vent to your friends about because it's just not. When your kid comes to you with "Hey I'm really depressed" that's between you and them and no one else cause if you go and tell your friends about it your child will never trust you with anything like that ever again Edit was just spelling
@ShelbyDevaud4 жыл бұрын
Ooo this is so true. My mother did this to me my whole life. She just wasn't able to cope with the weight of my problems or keep her mouth shut ever, and as a result, I shared absolutely nothing with her, from terrible things to good ones. As an adult now, I do get the need to share with someone else you trust, to get perspective, or because the weight of the problem is too much. Parents aren't these indestructible stone pillars, that can hold the weight of the world alone. Many don't have the ability to share those burdens with a spouse or partner, and that's where friends or other trusted people come in. However, when your kid becomes old enough to care what you're telling others, I strongly believe you should ask if it's okay to share (with a trusted person not a bunch of ppl) *first*, because it's not your life or your story to tell anymore. Especially once they become an adult. And if they explicitly ask you not to share, then DON'T, it is pure betrayal to do otherwise, and your child will never forget. I honestly don't consider myself to even have a mother at this point in my life, for many reasons, but this definitely plays into choosing to not having a relationship with her at all.
@classicalmoose4 жыл бұрын
@@ShelbyDevaud My mom is the same way and at the time of my comment if I remember right was going through something similar with her. I had gone to her for help with mental issues and I didn't even want my own dad knowing but when I went to school the next week four of her friends (she works at the school i go to) that are also co workers of hers are telling me if I ever need a hug that they're there. The first time I thought it was just coincidence but by the third time I knew she'd said something. When the fourth said almost those exact same words I marched to her office and fought with her about it and now I can't tell her anything even if I wanted to because the trust just isn't there. That was kinda a run on sentence but oh well

Absolutely loved this video. Personally, I have wanted to see THIS Jack, THIS Sean... We grow, we change. I can only imagine how you are feeling, being locked into "that" personality, fearing failure and an overwhelmingly negative response for not being that personality for them. I get it. You're allowed to grow Sean. You're allowed to change. I feel your KZbin career is much like a long running tv series. People get attached to their favourite characters, but ultimately that character is just an actor. Now I'm certainly not saying that what you have done, or what you present to the world is fake. Far from it. For you, it is all to real and I feel people forget this. People forget that this entire journey is (in a way) a young man that shared a large part of himself with a camera and for the longest time he threw all he had into it. I've been here for a long time my friend. Growing in my own way, through this craziness we call life. If by some random chance you actually read this: Breathe. Enjoy. You've given so much. Go and hold your girl. Close your eyes and hold a beautiful moment. Love you Brother.

This right here folks....this is it. Me as a person, I always want to see this side of someone. This true level of who someone is, is always what I want to know. And as long as Sean is happy, I'm happy. He has done so much for this community and we should respect that and give the same back to him. (As a new member he hasn't necessarily done much for ME, hence, community) Amen to this comment, you know what's up with life

Seán, it was a rabbit hole that took me back towards this video again, but I’ve got to be honest, this is fantastic. The editing, color grade, content, and production quality is astounding here. I get that this took place before the world imploded, but I’d kill for more content like this. I’d love to see you take a moment to sit down with Christopher Judge, Tara Strong, Nolan North, Camilla Luddington… I love this real talk, especially from a viewpoint that lives within the industry. This transparency provides a level of humanization that people need.
