Just as quick examples since I just started watching, sometimes it's just weird like when you first meet the kid he says "何してるの?” which is like "What are you doing?" but it's translated as "What's wrong?" Also, way too informal for a kid to talk to an adult like this in real life. And when he's explaining the rules he says "も一回説明する” which is "I will explain it again" but they translate it to "Got it?"You can directly translate this and it will make total sense, you don't need to change what he's saying.

Kid in Japanese: _is nice and respectful_ Translator: *...and I took that personally*
@chiarruzini11917 ай бұрын
That's just a cultural difference. English is much more direct (it's called low-context cultures) whereas Japanese is much, much more indirect or "polite" (high-context culture). I don't mean the kid isn't actually polite. He is. But it'd be weird for an English speaker to say everything that he said, so that's why the translator "trimmed" the text down. You need to take some things to adapt the text to the target culture. The same way, you'd add stuff if you were translating from English to Japanese. Or at least that's what I'd do as a translator. Maybe some would prefer a more literal translation and don't interfere that much with the source text. Yet, if you do that it wouldn't sound natural at all. That's just my approach though.

I see a lot of comments saying their art style has "improved" and that the Playstation 1 era graphics were "distracting," but I couldn't disagree more. their choice of an era of graphics for each game is deliberate, and meant to evoke the atmosphere of games of that time, which Japan's gaming market remembers very well. they could have gone with modern, current graphics from the very beginning, but that's just not a priority compared to creating the atmosphere they want

Deep vein thrombosis or also known in medical terms as DVT is when a blood clot forms in one of the major veins in your legs. Taking aspirin or a blood thinner can help. Often elevating the legs can help as well. It’s not always caused by long travels. It can be caused by heart failure, poor circulation, medication treatment, or genetics. It’s just random. A person can even have DVT if they exercise consistently.

@@muningningdakat4132 sometimes, not always. Depends on the severity. If the clot is too big to reduce, doctors will do a surgical procedure known as a thrombectomy. It’s one of the most difficult procedures to perform as your veins and arteries can be very tiny. Usually the first step is to use a blood thinner such as aspirin, heparin or warfarin (there are many others too). If this does not work, another thinner may be tried, but the last resort is the thrombectomy.

I love when you play Chilla’s Art games! You’re my favorite to watch for these, have only watched you from the beginning playing them all! When I saw you had a new one earlier today at my boyfriend’s place, cause I haven’t been on KZbin in a few days, I got so excited and he thought it was cute of me to get excited about it lol!

12:55 WHOA! I didn't think I'd see such a big jump in the character models. I thought the boy looked good but it didn't really click in my brain until this close-up.

the light anomaly might be caused by a setting in your monitor or video card. I used to experience it in all my games and the only solution was to turn 1ms response time, one of my screen's settings, on. So now it still does it but it just does it really fast.

Wow! Their game design/art has been improved a lot. Like at the beginning, that little boy explaining the game actually looked like a human lol. Hair, face and body looks more realistic and natural. Also his mouth actually moving correctly while speaking
