Ricky Thornton, Jr. took over the point lead for the Big River Steel Chase for the Championship after capturing Friday's 40-lap CJ Rayburn Memorial to kick off the weekend in Indiana.

I like Brownstown but more than 60 laps on the tire compound they have the last 2 years on a small track had not been as great as in years past

Not a terrible race but definitely not enough paint traded fighting for position, seemed like most were saving their cars for El Dora next week with the big payout. Think I gotta bout 5 pounds of dirt in my lungs as a souvenir. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Knoxville is way better for supers than this track. Doesnt even look like any guys ever hooked up. I dont know how davenport thinks Knoxville is too narrow.

Great job to Mikey and RTJ. Not a Pierce hater, but man was he butthurt both nights. Sorry bud you just didn't have a winning weekend. Still brought home good money and ended up on the podium both nights. Can't win em all.. Whining about lapped cars and a track developing one line towards the end of 100 laps. Sheesh
