There was a great outdoor music venue in Edwardsville, IL called "Mississippi River Festival." Ridiculous what bands they got there. The Stones, The Who, Yes... and then they'd also have classical music, jazz, folk. Shame such things die away. But that's why Jackson Browne was there, recording songs in the Holiday Inn on the edge of the bluffs of the Mississippi River valley.
